Bella stepped out of her truck as she sighs looking around. Spotting her friends she walks to them.

Kai Parker this.

Kai Parker that.

Kai Parker here.

Kai Parker there.

Kai Parker everywhere.

That's all Bella heard throughout the day and quite honestly she was getting tired of it. She didn't know who this person was so it made it even harder to talk to people (not like she would willingly) when that's all they spoke about. Especially in gym and now she has lunch. Hopefully no Kai Parker will the main topic of today.

She got her food and without looking up she sat down at her usual spot. Her friends greet her and her head shot up when she heard a new voice amongst them.

"Rough day, huh, Bella? Sorry. Manners. I'm Kai. Pork Rinds?" She looks and seeing a boy with dark hair and the eyes to match. He surely looked older than them and admittedly he was as cute as Jessica said he was during gym.

She blushed a deep red shaking her head, the boy shrugs and grabbed another chip and tossed it in his mouth.

"I see you met Kai." Eric spoke as he sat down patting the boys back. This Kai person smiles and held the bag of Pork Rinds out as Eric happily grabs some and eats it.

Just as I finished my bag of chips I see a group of very pale kids walk in. Very slowly, dramatically, gracefully.

Vampires.

Jessica seemed to notice my look on the people as she begins to explain who was who and apparently who was with who. Apparently during the time I spent in custody while the investigation was going on they moved here. Since we moved away after the trail was over I never got a chance to meet them.

I quirk a brow as they all sat down and shared smirks and smiles. I don't have much experience with vampires but I assume they could hear us.

"Okay so let me get this straight. Pixie and Tiny Texan are a couple. Bear man and generic brand Barbie are a couple." Mike and Eric stifle their laughs as Angela smiles behind her hand. Jessica snorts but nods as dear Bella simply looked to the Cullen's. I briefly glance at the vampire and smirk when I noticed their reaction.

Two out of four we're amused and smiling. One was making a slightly confused but constipated face. And the last seemed annoyed and sent glares my way.

"Of course there's Edward but he hasn't been in school for a couple of days." Angela spoke up as Jessica nods. I furrowed my brows and glance at the table.

"I'm assuming you only mentioned one name that he's the loner one of the group? And let me guess dark, brooding and just plain pessimistic that all the girls find very attractive?" I concluded as the group of friends and Bella looked between each other.

"Basically." Mike spoke up as they all nod. I hummed and leaned back as they go off on their conversation. I take the time to look at the new girl or so they say.

I heard from Mike during first period about the Arizona native moving to Forks. From how he talked my ear off all period I knew a couple of things about her:

She was from here but moved away and just moved back.

Her father is the sheriff.

She is awkward and severely shy.

She is in no way athletic at all.

She isn't excelling in the academic department either.

She was --to put it simply, plain and boring. Nothing was significant about her. But yet I already knew Mike was infatuated with her. Possibly other male students as well.

And I'm positive 200% they only like her because she was different and new in this mundane town.

Just give her a bad boy and have her fall head over heels in love with the guy and you got yourself the perfect movie cliché plotline, a plotline that is completely overused.

A thought comes to mind and I inwardly smirk at the amazing idea I had brewing. I could become her friend and have her think I actually care about her in actuality I am simply manipulating her.

Yep, Bella Sawn will become my friend.

"So Bella, care to make a new friend? By that I mean my friend." She looks at me and bit her lip nervously. She played with her fingers as she eventually nods. I smile as I lean back.

"Great."
