Step One: Involve yourself into her life, through and through.

Kai waited in his ride as he looked out for Bella. He saw the old pick up truck pull in and Kai smirks. He was determined to get Bella wrapped around his finger. If he played his cards right, she'll still do what he says even if she found out his true intentions. After all, everyone in the "bad guy" business always has a loyal lapdog to do their bidding.

When Bella parked and got her stuff together, Kai got out of his ride and makes his way over. Once Bella got out and slammed her door shut, Kai puts on a wide smile and calls out to her. Bella jumps almost dropping her books and looks to Kai. Blushing red, she bit her lip and glanced between him and the ground. Kai wrapped one arm around her shoulder, "So, how's my future best friend doing?"

Leading the girl down to the others, Kai felt someone staring. Glancing around the parking lot he saw the family of vampires watching him. Looking away like he saw nothing he kept chatting to Bella who was mostly quiet and barely spoke.

Kai still hung around Bella trying to get her to open up about her life or something but all she gave was short answers. When Bella left to her first class leaving Kai alone by his locker. Kai sighs in relief rubbing he neck in tiredness. Getting himself involved into her life was going to be harder than he thought. She was too shy and always got flustered whenever she spoke. He was already tired of the girl and just wanted nothing more than hurt her into following him. He couldn't, she was the sheriff's daughter and he needed to be on his good side. What better way to make sure the sheriff doesn't think your the bad guy in any way than to befriend his daughter?

He closed his locker and makes his way to the library, he already asked his first period teacher for a pass. Once in the library he goes to the fiction section and continued his search for vampires. Perhaps some of these stories have a truth behind it.

After school, Kai walked Bella to her truck. Today could be considered a small accomplishment. He was able to get seats beside her and now he just needed to gain her trust. "So, how does Forks look? Like you remember before you left?" Bella shrugs saying it was still dreary and cold like she remembers. Kai smirks as he too realized the weather was always the same. But he rather enjoyed the weather and found a comfort in it.

Once walking back to her truck he said goodbye to the girl. When he closed her door, he turns to leave and noticed the same vampires were looking at him. Internally rolling his eyes, he got into his ride, he stayed quiet knowing the creatures were listening to him. As quick as he could, he drove off the school grounds, before he started hitting the steering wheel, shouting every curse word in the book. He needed to work fast and the pace Bella was moving for opening up wasn't quick enough.

Huffing he decided to stop by the store for some food. Since his return, he either skip dinner or eat fast food or take out. As he goes inside the store he grabs a small cart, he walked down the aisles looking at the items.

Halfway through, he knew his infamous Waldo stalker was following him once again. He didn't know why a vampire was so keen on following him. Nonetheless Kai kept shopping like he wasn't being watched. As Kai stood at an end of the aisle looking at the different Raman flavors. He picked up two different packages and walked straight into the next aisle raising the two options.

"So Waldo, which do you prefer... Spicy or beef?" Kai looks at the vampire who stood stiff and a hint of surprise in his honey gold eyes. Edward stayed silent as he looked at Kai questioningly. Taking his look Kai snorts, "What? Surprised I knew you are following me? You must be new at the whole stalker persona, but I can tell you watching someone through the small cracks and holes between each aisle isn't a way to go."
