I don't know what it was but the way Thomas was smiling at us freaked me out more than this house.

"So you two both had the same nightmares, same birthmark, your eyes turned yellow when you kiss, and you both have a similar family book. This just keeps getting better and better", he laughs.

I have had enough with his games. I need to know what's happening to me.

"Can you please just tell us what's wrong", I snap. He looks at me.

"This ones a little firecracker", he says nodding in my direction.

"Yeah, I guess", Carsons says, his eyes looking down at me. Like he wants me to chill. I can't.

"They'll be coming for ya'll soon", Thomas says looking back at me.

What did he just say?

"Umm, who? Who's coming for us?", I say, my feet backing up as the words leave my mouth.

"The court. I'll be honest with you Carson. When you first started coming around I could tell you were different, but I never thought you would end up being Lewis's son", Thomas says walking to the window, shaking his head in surprise.

Carson stepped forward. "Who's Lewis? What the hell are you talking about", he snaps his voice getting louder.

"Oh, boy do ya'll have a lot to learn. I'll tell you what, why don't you both go home, get some sleep, get up bright and early and go to school so no one worries. Then after school come back", Thomas says.

Before I could even proses what Thomas just said, Carson took another step forward. "We're not going anywhere", his voice almost frightening.

"Understandable", Thomas laughs.

"Now, tell me who Lewis is, and being someone's son. Whatever you were talking about", Carson says scrambling his words.

"Ok look. first, both of you sit down", he says. Me and Carson obey and do as told.

"So around 18 years ago Lewis got a girl named Annabeth pregnant. Annabeth was a werewolf and Lewis was a hybrid. The very first hybrid, I might add", he says stopping to look for a reaction and boy did he get it.

"Do what? Are you fucking with me right now? All this and your trying to tell me werewolves and I don't even know what the hell a hybrid is, has something to do with me?" Carson says standing back up.

"Stop before you lose your cool and do something you're going to regret", Thomas says trying to keep his cool. "If you'll give me a damn minute I'll show you." Thomas walks to the middle of the room away for everything.

"Umm, what are you doing"?, I ask.

"You needy ass people. I'm going to show you something so you will understand and believe me. But most importantly you'll be more open-minded. Now first off before I show you, I need you to give me your word that you will not tell another soul about what you will see here today", He looks both of us in the eyes.

Something inside of me started to burn. I wanted to scream but I couldn't. Something about when he said 'give me your word' startled me. Before I could say something I heard myself say "I give you my word". I would feel the words leave my mouth but I didn't even mean to say them. I turn to look at Carson as he said the same thing. Could he fell what I just felt?

"Good. Now, whatever you do, don't panic. Like run, scream, or throw something at me. Okay? okay." He says answering himself. I nod in agreement.

Next thing I know Thomas in down on his hands and knees growling. A human growly? Completely normal. Dark blue and black veins ran up his arms and into his chest. He looks up at us and his eyes turn yellow, just like ours did. I look up at Carson as he looks down at me. I look back down and dark fur started coving him completely. His hands and feet turned into paws. He's is a wolf. Slowly, I feel my feet moving backward, my heart starts to race, it's getting hard to breathe. I can't scream. I want to more than anything but I said I wouldn't and for some reason, I can't lie. I've lied plenty of times, why can't I now?

The room is silent and this wolf sits down and looks at us.

"What in the hell was that?", Carson screams.

"Is he okay", I say walking a few feet forward. The wolf looks down like he wants me to come here. I don't know whats got into me but I walk up to it. kneeling down I look the wolf in the face and I fell my insides explain. I cheeks start to burn. I'm now looking him dead in the eyes. It's as fine were communicating with no words. Broken by Carson turning my head. He looks at me with confusion but at the same time love. He nods gesturing to my eyes. I stare at his eyes and see as the reflection off of his eyes is a whole. Our eyes have once again turned yellow. We turn to look at the wolf that was once Thomas turn back. He looks at both of us without saying anything.

we all stand up. "I'm ready", I say.

Thomas smiles and walks to sit on his desk. "Both of you are handling that really well. I'm not surprised, to be honest", He smiles. It's comforting.

"Finish what you were saying. I believe you", I look at my feet then back up at him. Carson looking at me than directing his attention back to Thomas.

"Okay. Well, like I was saying Lewis was a hybrid. Half vampire half werewolf. And he like most was scared of what people would think if they found out he had a son. There were only two hybrids Lewis and his best friend Mason. But the only reason Mason was a hybrid was because Lewis didn't want people to hate just him. Long story short he gave Mason his blood and then killed him, making Mason come back as not only a werewolf but also Vampire. Around five years down the line, Annabeth told Lewis she was pregnant. He was pissed, if we're going to be completely honest about it. He didn't want you to be born because of the way people would treat you. No one ever knew it was humanly possible for a hybrid and a werewolf to have a child. On down the line, you ended up being born anyway...." He looked up at Carson's face but continued talking anyway.

"Carson they loved you, they really did. That's why they gave you up, so you would be safe and live a normal life", he stopped.

"I'm at a loss of words", Carson finally said.

"I know it a lot", He said.

"I'm sorry I know this must be really hard on you, but how the hell do I fit into all this?", I ask. Thomas holds in his laughter.

"As I was saying Carson was the first son of a Hybrid and you..." He trails off looking at me. I don't want to know the answer to this but I need to. I nod to let him know it was okay to keep going.

He let out a deep breathe. "And you were the first daughter of a Hybrid". My eyes widen.

"You're saying we're..."  I could finish that sentence. Are me and Carson related? Is that was this is?

"No", He laughed. "Your Masons daughter. Your fathers made a pack to keep Hybrids alive by keeping you both in the same town.", he says hoping we can contact the dots but we just stare at me.

"You too have never been drown to each other?", he asks. I look to Carson before speaking.

"Yeah..", He looks down at me. "I meant to bump into you yesterday, I sorry. I just couldn't stay away from you any longer", Carson says. I smile.

"Well then, that is", Thomas said.

"That's what", I say still confused.

"Jesus yall are blonde. Your fathers had you to keep the hybrid generation alive. if you too were to have a kid. It would be the first of its kind. You too were put 4 houses apart so you would find each other. Do yall not get how important you are to werewolves or vampires", he snaps.

"I dont know what you want for me", I say backing up.

"I want you to understand", he says. I shake my head.

"I'm leaving tomorrow at 9 to go to an institution with kids... Well, young adults just like you. I mean not just like you because your obviously the first of your kind, but they can help you understand more about yourself. I know it's a lot but now that you've found out they will come for you. the court we and they will take you away. So I need you to come with me. Believe me or not but I know what's best for right now. The question I'm asking is, do you want to be a part of this world or go and be apart of the world that you were born for?", he stops talking.

I look at Carson then back at Thomas. What do I do?
