"I'm trying-" Tony's voice broke, and so did Angelica's heart. "I'm trying to keep the avengers from falling apart."

After minutes of constant bickering, Angelica sighed. This wasn't what she expected a hero to do. She didn't want to sit around and wait for something to happen, but she didn't have to wait long.

Captain raised his arms, a raven black arrow shooting through the air and piercing through the webs which bound his large hands together.

"Hey guys, something-" Peter started, but was cut off as something emerged from the shield on his arm. The force threw Peter backwards and a man seemed to come from nowhere, nabbing Captain's shield. Angelica rushed over to Peter.

"Are you okay?" She asked. He nodded, waving his hand as though the fall was nothing. The little girl held up three fingers. "How many fingers am I holding up?"

"You're adorable," Peter laughed before standing back up and towering over her once more.

"There's two on the parking deck, one of them's Maximoff, I'm gonna grab her." Iron Man's voice clouded Angelica's ears as he projected himself upwards. An uneasy feeling overtook the small blonde.

"Hey, Mister Stark? What should I do?" Peter asked.

"What we discussed." Tony said disapprovingly. "Keep your distance, web 'em up, keep my daughter safe."

Peter ran forward, webs ejecting from his hands and he lifted himself forward. "Okay, copy that." Angelica stared at the boy in awe, having never before seen him in action in the flesh.

She watched as Nat kicked the ominous man in the red suit, right where the sun doesn't shine. Suddenly, like magic, he shrunk and disappeared again. Angelica rushed over, trying to help Natasha as she flipped forward unpredictably. Obviously, Natasha didn't need saving, as she electrocuted the ant sized man, who flew back and dented a rustic plane.

A flash of red and blue passed the small girl's chocolate eyes. Instantly she was running towards Peter, watching as he jumped across the glass roof like a spider.

"Go get 'em, Spidey!" She cried, making her way towards the glass door entrance.

Peter's angelic voice shouted back at her, "if I come out of this alive, I'm taking you on a real date, Angel!"

She stopped dead in her tracks, a warm smile overtaking her features at the thought of dating Peter Parker. The blush against her cheeks almost burned and her chocolate eyes were wide open. Suddenly nothing around her mattered anymore; she only cared about Peter.
