Just Give Me A Reason
(A/N: we don't own the song 'Just Give Me a Reason')

The Devil's Playground was really empty tonight. Not many people and even the dancers had settled down for the night.

Yamious sighed and laid his head on his arms. His dark hoodie and mask covering his face as images of the ones he loved...yet could never have flashed in his mind. He would never be on their level.... besides he was sure he would be more of a fifth wheel than an anything. He toys with his empty soda glass.

Music started playing. A song Yamious didn't really know anything about. He was about to tune it out when he heard a familiar voice. His eyes widened as his heart beat quickly. 'Yugi'

"Right from the start you were a thief, you stole my heart." Yugi sang softly in his mic.

Behind him were his band and Yamious' eyes widened further. It was Atemu, Yami and....Ami?! 'What are they doing here?' he wondered as he listened to the music.

"And I your willing victim." Yugi continued before giving Atemu the mic.

"He let you see the parts of him that weren't all that pretty and with every touch you fixed them..."

Yamious' eyes widened as he watches the four sing.

The mic went to Yami. "Now you've been talking in your sleep. Oh oh things you never say to us oh oh"

Yamious felt his heart ache as the words hit his very core.

The mic then went to Ami for his small solo.

"Tell me that you've had enough of our love...oh oh.." The three look at Yugi as they all sang.

"Just give us a reason just a little bit's enough, just a second we aren't broken just bent and we can learn to love again. It's in the stars. It's been written in the scars on our hearts." Yugi walked up slowly and stared straight at Yamious with a smiled.

"We're not broken just bent and we can learn to love again."

Yamious was speechless as Atemu and Yami and even Ami joined in before pausing briefly to get ready for the next verse. Yamious felt tears fall as he covered his mouth with his hands.

Yugi walked off the stage and to Yamious with the mic in his hand. "I'm sorry I don't understand where all of this is coming from I thought that we were fine." Yugi looked at Yamious with sadness as he held in his chin one hand and the mic in the other.

Yamious sighed as he slowly stood up. "Yeah we had everything...I guess my head's running wild again...you to say we still have every.....maybe it's all in my mind." He said softly as he bites his lip his eyes full of uncertainty.

Yami walked up behind Yamious and hugged him from behind. "My dear we still have everything and it's all in your mind." "Yea but this is happening." Yugi sang softly.

"I've been having really bad dreams oh oh...." Yamious sang sadly as Atemu rested a hand on his shoulder. "You use to lie so close to us...oh oh. There's nothing more than empty sheets."

Yamious sighed and looked at Ami before singing. "Between our love...." "Our love tonight." As they pulled Yamious onto the stage the song continues.

"Oh our love, our love!" Yugi sang before they all sang together.

"Just give us a reason just a little bit's enough, just a second we're not broken just bent and we can learn to love again. We never stopped It's written in the stars...." "It's still written on the scars of my heart...we aren't broken just bent.....so we can learn to love again."

"Oh tear ducts and rust. I'll fix it for us." Ami sang softly. Yamious eyes widened as he looked at Ami as Atemu continues

"We are collecting dust but our love's enough." Atemu sang before Yami steps up. "You're holding it in, you're pouring a drink. No nothing is as bad as it seems." Yugi carried the next part. "We'll come clean!" Yugi said.

Yamious looks embarrassed at the drink part however he smiled as he continues. "Just give me a reason just a little bit's enough. Just a second we aren't broken just bent...we can learn to love again... oh oh."

"It's in the stars, it's been written in our scars on our hearts. We're not broken just bent. We can learn to love again." Ami sings as he grabbed Yamious' hand.

"Learn to love again ...." Yamious sang softly as he smiled at his four lovers.

"Just give me a reason, just a little bit's enough, just a second we aren't broken just bent and we can learn to love again."  The music softly ended as the now crowded bar roared in applause. Yamious blushes and moved to hide in the shadows...not use to the applause.

Yugi pulled Yamious closer to them. "I'm really sorry you felt that way but I wish you would have told us."

Yamious sighed and looked at them before using his Shadows to teleport them into a different realm. "I never meant to make you worry Angel....you or Princess or Yami... or..." Yamious fell quiet as he was still feeling a bit unsure of Amis feelings.

"And Ami. You made us worry when we couldn't find you." Yugi said softly. "Will you come back with us?" Yugi asks softly.

"Yeah please Yamious you're part of our group." "You are important to us." They all looked at Ami who walked over and pulled Yamious into a hug. Yamious was shocked. "Look I never meant to make you feel like you weren't wanted... I can just be a pain in the ass sometimes...but we all love you..."

Yamious relaxed slightly before looking down. "But... unlike you...I'm just a normal human...yes I have Shadows....but I can't give Yugi or any of you kids....not like you guys can...."

Yugi smiles and holds Yamious' hand. "Yamious we can always adopt. As long as they are ours."

Yamious looks up as he looked at them tears falling as he pulls all four of them closer. Yami, Atemu, Ami, and Yugi smile as they hugged Yamious back.

"Will you come back?" Yugi asks"Yes...I love you four too much... leaving you was to agonizing... do you forgive me?"

Ami smirks as he looked at Yugi and Atemu and Yami. 'Hm... you three thinking what I'm thinking?'

Yugi's eyes widen. "Oh no. Ami not now..."

Yamious blinked and this his eyes flash as he smirked. "Hmm not a bad idea...but you have to catch me first."  Yamious smirks as he grabbed Yugi and Atemu as he left a dumbfounded Yami and Ami before they ran into the shadows laughing.
