The Fight of the Guardians

A angel with flawless tan skin and pale wings was waiting eagerly with two other angels in the guardian choosing chamber. When an angel became a guardian it was the highest honor.

As their names were called they flew into the chamber. Ashton head angel looked them over.

"Heba, Seto, and Atemu. You are to be guardian angels. You must promise to remain pure and to never allow yourself to be swayed by human emotions. You are to protect humans not wish to be like them.

Seto smirks. "Like how Atemu's former lovers were? They tainted the good name of all angels."

Atemu felt his hands turn to fists. "Do not associate those blasted demons with me!" Atemu hissed as Ashton and Heba shared a 'here we go again' look.

"Can we just go down to earth to see who we are guarding?" Heba rolls his eyes.

Ashton smiled at Heba. "I have the names of your humans right here. Heba yours is a girl named Rebecca, Seto has a boy named Joey, and lastly Atemu. Your human is a young boy named Yugi. Now remember you are to guard them and keep them safe. Do not become attached to them....it is a sin and why some angels became demons...."

Atemu frowns as he took his scroll and flew out.

Seto rolled his eyes. "What a baby. It's his own fault for loving two angels who never were fit to have their wings...."

Heba rolls his eyes. "Let's just go do our job." Heba said and flew off.

Meanwhile in the Underworld the Queen of Demons was relaxing in their garden with his friend. "Mana have you seen Yami lately? It worries me that he's gone all the time ...I hope he's well .. especially with those bastard angels around." Ami the demon queen said as he walked over to admire the blood red roses tinted with black.

Mana looks at Ami. "He's Fine Ami. He's been getting you a gift for your guys anniversary."

Ami blinks and smiled. "That's good... honestly I was worried he would be heartbroken after....Temmy abandoned us....but he seems to being this better than I am."

Mana pats Ami's back. "I don't know exactly what the gift is but he told me you both would love it."

Ami smirks and nods. "Yami can be a child at heart but he's all man." The two then go back to enjoying the garden.

Meanwhile on earth Yami smirks as he looks at his and Ami's to be mate. A beautiful boy named Yugi.

Yugi smiles as he walks over to Yami it's two smoothies. "How are you liking Domino Yami?"

"It's nice...but not as nice as you Aibou, and I'm very happy I met you." Yami's hugged Yugi with one arm. They sipped their smoothies resting under their favorite tree.

Yugi places his head on Yami's shoulder. "I'm glad to have met you too. Help you get around the city."

Yami had fallen for Yugi long ago and the two instantly hooked up. Yugi was even ok with Yami having his other lover as Yami had told Yugi everything....well except that they were demons and their former lover was an angel...he wanted that to be a surprise...well the demon part anyways.

"I can't wait to meet Ami Yami. Do you think he'll like me?"

Yami's eyes soften as he kissed Yugi softly. "Of course he will love you. Who wouldn't? Your cute and sweet and lovable." Yami pulled Yugi into his lap as he deepens the kiss.

Yugi smiles and wraps his arms around Yami. "Hey Lovebirds get a room!" Joey, Yugi's best friend joked as he and Rebecca walk over.

Yugi pulled back and waves at his friends. "Hey guys." He turned around so he was sitting in Yami's lap.
