I looked at her, feeling my anger rise. How dare she lie. I smacked her across the face.

"You expect me to believe that lie! He is my most trusted..." "I'm Not Lying." She said, interrupting me.

"He wants to kill you." She said.

"Shut up." Iron whispered. I heard that but stayed silent.

"He was planing to have me kill you but I refused." She continued.

"Shut up." Iron said louder. My anger was growing.

"So he told you I was planing on killing you so he could do it and get away with it." She said.

"Shut up you filthy lair!" Iron yelled. I was quiet for a bit, not sure who was telling the truth. I then moved and pointed my horn at them both. I cashed a truth spell on them. I lifted my head and looked at my pet.

"Slave. Did you poison me?" I asked, still using slave as her name but she shook her head.

"I told you I can't kill any pony." She answered. I almost smiled but nodded instead and looked at Iron.

"Iron. Did you poison me?" I asked. Iron looked at me.

"Of course I did!" He yelled. I was so mad that if any pony was talking, i wouldn't have been able to hear them.

"I mean...I...How?" He asked. I walk up to him.

"I casted a truth spell on you both. You were going to let her suffer and die." I said. that wasn't a question, but a fact. Iron backed up before turning to run but didn't get far as the door to the study slammed shut. Iron turned to look at me. I used a spell to keep the door closed.

"You killed my sister. She's dead because of you!" He yelled. I walk up to him.

"And so are you." I said before pointing his horn at him. Iron screamed but it as drowned out by the black beam coming from my horn and Iron fell to the floor. It was a a simple dark spell. One that stops your heart. It was fast, but painful. I turned and saw my pet was looking away in horror. I walked up to her and she looked up. I wasn't happy.

"My king...I'm sorry." She said, looking back down.

"Why didn't you tell me?" I asked but she kept her head down.

"He put a silence spell on me. I couldn't. I did the only thing I could think of." She answered. I put my hoof under her chin so she would look at me.

"You almost died doing that. Your lucky I know spells to remove poisons." I said and let her go. She stood up but suddenly fell again.

"Are you OK pet?" I asked. Worry was in my voice, but I couldn't hide it.

"Yes. Just..." She started but her eyes closed and I knew she was out. I carried her back to my chambers and laid her down. I watched she sleep for a bit before I closed my eyes and her chain vanished.

"You have proven your worth, my pet. I just hope you can pass the test." I said and kissed her forehead.
