Aaron's life has changed in the past three years. For one, he somehow ended up with Aphmau and is determined to keep her happy. But when he goes to stay at an old lodge his father is purchasing, plans change.
I sat in a chair next to the fire, Aphmau, Lucinda, and Zane grouped around it like children. Minutes felt like years as Aaron slept on upstairs. "Ein."Micheal spoke at the door. I stood as Aphmau, Lucinda and Zane focused on him. I did the same and watched as Micheal approached me. ___________________________________
Aaron POV~
I woke up to commotion somewhere else. I sat up and looked around the room I was in. It had wooden walls that were slightly chipped in places. The room was extremely barren besides the single bed I sat in.
I tried to think about how I got here, but I couldn't remember. Then it hit me. I scrambled out of the bed and through a door only to stop right outside. My friends, Ein, and another man were on the floor below.
Ein stood leaning against a wall, facing the door. The other man stared up at me. His stern gaze scared me. "Aaron-"I turned my eyes to Ein as he spoke, but he wouldn't look at me,"-Come down here.". I did as he said. I trust Ein. I love him.
I stepped down the stairs quietly and watched as my friends' heads followed me. Their eyes were green and curious. I tried to quickly walk toward Ein, but the man grabbed my arm,"Your the Ultima, aren't you?".
I stared at him a moment before I turned back toward Ein, who still wouldn't look at me. "I don't know what your talking about."I said firmly, ripping my arm away from him. "Aaron."Ein finally turned toward me. I wish he hadn't.
