Fun Fact: The Author Of this Story typed "I could hear his face" on accident.
I could hear his voice. No words, just a slur of fast paced words that gathered in their anger. He was angry.
I stood suddenly, as Aphmau quickly stood too, holding her hand out to help me. She's changed. We both have.
"What did you hear Ein?"She whispered to me, her eyes filled with worry. "A-Aaron,"Just saying his name made me feel even more hopeful.
"Lucy, Zane, you think he can make it out there?"Aphmau turned towards her fellow green eyed friends.
"Why?"Zane leaned back from leading out of the cave,"Has something happened?".
I didn't hear Aaron again. No matter how hard I listened, all I could hear was a steady rhythm that was not my own, as it pounded through my ears.
At that moment, I couldn't wait anymore. I didn't care if I was freezing, or if it was Aphmau's scarf that I lost.
I ran.
