Aaron POV~
___________________________________"-didn't I tell you it was obvious?"Ein's green eyes stared calmly into mine. I didn't meet his gaze. It wasn't really his, after all. "Yeah, back in college wasn't it?"I replied, quietly scanning the room. Aphmau was staring at me. They were all staring at me.
"Why am I here?"I turned to Micheal. "In order to be contained of course,"He spoke as if it was obvious. "What do you mean by that?"I walked slowly to the door, never taking my eyes off him. Nobody stopped me.
"Your the Ultima. Letting you live among people could cost millions."He began,"Now tell me Aaron, what is one life to a million?".
My hand was on the doorknob. "I'd say they're all one life if you split them from each other. One separate existence. Who would want that?"I replied.
"Why haven't you left?".
I turned to see Aphmau standing up, still watching me.
"What?"I answered dumbly. "You have a perfect chance to escape, but you haven't. Why is that?"She elaborated. Lucinda and Zane has begun whispering to themselves.
"Perhaps it's because there's something important your forgetting?"Micheal tilted his head in Ein's direction. I couldn't stand leaving Ein here, even if he has a potion on him. As much as I hate to say it.

___________________________________At this point, I can't even control my breathing ( But now you can! I know, I suck XD). I have no say in my own actions. All I have left is memories
I can see my Dad. He's there on the sofa, like he was before.
"I'm home.."I spoke quietly, locking the door behind me. Even if I had shouted, they wouldn't have heard me over their own voices.
The kitchen, where Mom complained.
The backyard, where I listen.
Their room, where Dad yelled.
My room, where I blast music in my ears.
Today was just like any day. Like every day. Like all those days. Every day before, every day after.
They yelled at me.
I yelled back.
They yelled back.
Aaron shouted.
I wanted to cry.
I'm sorry Aaron, for hurting you.
For manipulating you.
For loving you.
But please...
"-Go..".

"Ein?"I looked at him as soon as he spoke. "..you..go.."He spoke again. He sounded far off, eventually his words became vague, unable to understand murmurs.
I took his hand. Micheal looked as though something kept him from freaking out. As if he had to hold back. Ein merely met my eyes, lips whispering whatever he was thinking. His eyes were still green, but they weren't glowing anymore.

___________________________________A/N:
Alright, let's talk about a chapter from the first book. Any of you remember, "Promise."?
If not, let me explain why I'm talking about it. At the end of that chapter, I decided to only hint at smut. I'm here to explain why.
No, I'm not an innocent bean. I know how it works. I just literally can't write it. So if I did end up writing it, it wouldn't be for awhile.
But also, Thanks to those who give feedback and those who don't. Either way, you're all awesome 🙂💜⭐️
