Resurrecting the dead

(Just so everyone knows,  Lily hasnt been born just yet- Ginny is pregnant with her though. Not sure what ive written in other chapters!!)

After the dinner was finished and Fred was caught up to date in what was occuring in life, Harry and Ginny took Teddy, James, Albus and Alice back home. They made a temporary bed for Alice in the new babys room, and put all the children to bed. They then walked downstairs and slumped onto the sofa next to each other.

Ginny leant over and kissed Harry gently on his lips. He smiled and pulled her closer; nothing more needed to be said; they understood each other perfectly; words werent necesary. They sat there in silence for a while, before Harry intrupted the peaceful silence.

"What do i do Gin?" Harry whispered in her ear. "Who else do i choose?"

Ginny thought for a moment before replying. "Well you chose Fred for my family; we all know how depressed George and Mum have been, and how worse it would have been if you hadnt brought him back. I know you wanted to bring Fred back too, as he was like your brother, but really, it was for George and Mum; to thank them for all they did for you. i know that" She looked into his eyes. "Alice you brought back for us and for her to have a life, so for the last one, it needs to be your choice, however selfish it is. You've been selfless enough times in your life! This time you need to be selfish. Bring back who you want; somebody who you think deserves a second chance, someone you love. Nobody minds who you bring back, they all know how hard the decision is to just bring back 3. As long as its not Voldemort, we will love you whatever!"

Harry laughed into her hair "Thanks Gin. I think i know who i'll bring back."

They fell asleep in each others arms shortly after.

When  Harry awoke it was still early, so he gently slipped out of Ginnys embrace and got dressed, before evaporating to Ron and Hermiones house to get on with a few tasks. Hermione always woke early, so he knew she would be up. He asked her to check something for him, before evaporating to Gringotts. He found the chief Goblin who quickly sorted out everything Harry needed, and then Harry headed out onto Diagon Alley to find a few last things for Ginnys birthday present. He picked up the few things he had ordered and bought a bunch of roses before evaporating home. He evaporated straight into his room and wrapped Ginnys presents before heading downstairs to wake the kids.

"Morning James and Al, its your Mums birthday today!"

"Hello Daddy" James mumbled sleepily, as Harry opened the curtains. He helped the two boys get dressed, before leaving them to draw a picture for there mum. He went into Alices temporary room and woke her up.

"Wake up Alice sweetheart"

"Daddy" Alice replied as he hugged her.

"Alice Minerva Potter, you have no idea how much i love you" he whispered into her ear, before helping her get dressed into a dress he had picked out from Diagon Alley. He had only got her a few essentials; Ginny would have to go shopping to get the rest soon. He then led her into the boys room where the boys were still drawring.

"Albus and James, this is your Sister Alice"

"Why is she not a baby daddy?" James questioned, confusing Alice with his unborn sister Lily.

"Alice was taken by the angels when she was born, so Daddy went and got her back, but she has grown a little bit! You have another sister, called Lily, who is in Mummys tummy. She will be a baby soon"

"Oh. Ok. Hello Alice" James said before continuing to draw.

Alice shyly smiled before sitting down next to the boys, and started drawing.

"I'll be downstairs making breakfast Kids, i'll be back up in a few minutes."

"Ok Dadda" James replied happily.

Harry headed downstairs to wake his wife. He kissed her gently on the lips whispering "Morning Gin, Happy birthday baby!"

"uurgghhh 5 more minutes" Ginny mumbled.

"Don't you want your presents?!" Harry joked and with that Ginny had jumped up and ran upstairs to get changed. She was still a little kid at heart! Harry quickly put all of Ginnys presents in the middle of the table, made some pancakes and then laid the table around the presents. He quickly cast a charm on all of the rooms in the house and then headed upstairs to fetch the kids. He found them all still drawing.

"Kids, breakfasts almost ready, how about we give Alice a tour of the house whilst your mum finishes getting ready and then we can eat some pancakes"

"Ok" James replied.

"Dadda" Albus said, lifting his arms up, Harry picked him up, and took Alice by the hand. They quickly walked round the few floors of 12 Grimmauld place before going downstairs and sitting at the table.

Ginny came down a few minutes later.

"PRESENTS!!" she giggled when she saw Harry in the kitchen and ran to sit down.

"Happy birthday mum! we have pancakes!" James shouted.

"Momma" Albus said.

Alice just smiled at her mum.

"Morning kids!" Ginny said before sitting down. The kids all past her the drawing which she look at with love, before pinning them on the fridge behind her. She began opening the presnets in front of her. A box of Chocolate Frogs and a box of fizzing whizbys from Ron, a quidditch annual and picture of her god daughter Rose from Hermione, An apron and some muggle baking books from her parents, A gardening book from neville, some odd flowers and a interestign hat from Luna, a joke box (again) from George, and a card from Fred saying 'you get me back to make up for the however many birthdays and christmases i missed!!' and some more chocolate and quidditch equipment from the rest of her brothers and their familys.

From Harry she got 2 tickets for a muggle theatre, the roses, a flower charm for the bracelet she had for christmas a few years back, and a small box. She looked curiosly up a Harry, before opening the box, and gasping in surpirse.

"Is this...?!"

"Yes Gin, it is. Its a key for our new home. I'll take you all there after breakfast"

Ginny jumped up and ran and kissed Harry, before kissing her kids and jumping up and down. "I love it already" she said excitedly.

Once the kids had finished, Harry quickly cleaned the kitchen by magic, and then holding onto the kids and Ginny, evaporated to their new house.
