Resurrecting the dead

The final one

They landed at the new house. Ginny gasped; it was beautiful. It was right by a lake, and you could see the burrow across a few fields. It had a small wood forest to one side, and a beautiful lake side beach on the other, and the back was surrounded by fields. The house itself was grand, yet had a cute homely feel about it, and they hadnt even gone inside. Before they went in, Harry felt around in his pocket for the old DA coin, and used it to send a quick message to Hermione.

Harry opened the door, and let them inside. The inside was beautiful, a large staircase was directly in front of the door, with a kitchen, dining room and living room all coming off the central room by doors. The kids ran up the stairs, where there were 4 bedrooms and a bathroom.

"This is our Bedroom" Harry said showing everyone, "and the other 3 are for Alice, Lily and Albus; you get to choose"

"Wheres my room dad?" James asked

"This way", Harry said opening a small door hidden behind a photo frame; like the gryfindor tower room at hogwarts. At the top of a small winding staircase was a large attic converted into a lovely bedroom; attched to a bathroom. Through the bathroom was another door to another bedroom. "This ones Teddys room" Harry explained. They went downstairs, and Harry showed them the other hidden staircase which led to a further two rooms, for guests, but they would eventually become Albus's and Alices.

Harry waved his wand, and all of the furniture from their house at Grimmald Place appeared in boxes all ver the house.

"I'd better get unpacking" Ginny said laughing "You go and do what you have to do"

"Take it easy gin" Harry said lovingly. "Its your birthday, and you are almost 8 months pregnant. I'll call the twins to give you help with the furniture. I'll be back soon"

Harry kissed his children goodbye before apparating back to Grimmald place. As soon as he landed, he felt the burn of the coin alerting him he had a reply from Hermione. It read "Yes, we'll be there in 15 minutes" He took out the resurrection stone, and the remaining vial of potion before performing the ritual for the final time. He opened his eyes, and the person he had been thinking of was stood in front of him.  

"Harry, My boy" Sirius exclaimed "Why the hell am i here?"

"I've bought you back Sirius."

"Back to life?" he questioned

"Yes. Like Fred and Alice"

"Why me?" sirius asked suddenly

"You deserved to live. I couldn't separate my parents, nor could i separate Tonks and Remus, and after i spoke to your brother, i decided that it had to be you. You deserve a second chance, not only at life, but with Love"

"You mean?"

"Yes, She's still alive" Harry said nodding; and held out his arm to sirius. Sirius took his arm and they apparated to Hogwarts Hall. Harry couldnt think of a more significant place in Sirius's life to do this. Hogwarts was where his family had been; the Marauders, and where he felt safe. They landed just outside the door. Harry handed him the box from inside his robe which he had collected from Gringotts, and the letter.

"Good to go?" Harry said

"Yes" Sirius replied, as Harry opened the heavy door. Sirius walked in first, and then stopped suddenly, his eyes fixed ahead. The person he was staring at turned around and saw him, and as Harry and Hermione watched from the edge of the room, both began running towards each other; as if they were teenagers rather than long lost loves. They embraced in a long hug before the girl took a step back and smacked sirius round the face

"That is for being an arse", and she slapped him again,

"That is for being an arse and protecting me when i didnt need it" and slapping him a 3rd time "That is being an arse for leaving me for 25 years"

Sirius, Harry and Hermione all looked shocked at the event, before the girl spoke again.

"And this is because you are an arse who i happen to still be completely in love with and have missed for 25 years" and with that she Lent in and kissed him strong on the lips. Sirius kissed her passionately back, before stepping back, and smiling. He knelt to the ground, one one knee, and pulled out the ring on the chain.

"Thinking of you kept me alive in Askaban, it kept me from giving up. It gave me reason to fight Voldemort, and gave me reason to not let him win. Protecting you was the main reason behind my actions. Even though i know you bloody well dont need protecting, i couldnt bear loose you like i lost the others. Fighting in the ministry of magic, i fought for you, and when i came to die, it was a sacrifice i was willing to make for your safety. with me gone they had little chance of tracking you down. Marlene Mckinnion, i have loved you since i was an arse of a teenager and you were Evans's sidekick, through 12 years of hell, when i was an arse that didnt think, for  2 year of loneliness when i was an arse that was overprotective and through 11 years of heaven when i was an arsefor leaving you. And as a war damaged, emotionally tortured, semi dead arse, i love you still. Will you  marry such arse Marlene  Mckinnion?" Sirius asked.

"are you serious?" marlene replied "WAIT i didnt ask that...!" as sirius opened his mouth to speak. "Yes, i will Marry you, you arse!" Sirius placed the ring onto her finger, before standing up, and pulling her into his arms. Harry and Hermione clapped from the edge of the room, as the couple smiled at each other, before apparating back home.
