‧͙⁺˚*・༓☾ Third Person POV ☽༓・*˚⁺‧͙
Sometimes, those people you trust most, have the prettiest skin, but the evilest blood. And when the blood churns and breaks through, the impossible can be done
Not for the good
Not for the bad
But to hurt the most vunerable people of all.
"C-can i get everyone's attention" we spun around as the music halted, bringing everyones eyes to meet the shaky girl on the stage.
Amora.
What could she ever want?
She took a deep breath and began her speech.
"So as you know, i-I'm friends with Melody Mora. She might be bright and nice on the outside, but she's a demon on the inside. Don't trust people like her, because she'll just break you once you let her in. And trust me, i have first hand experience"
Melody felt as if sharp knives have stuck into her, taking out her soul. How could someone, who's so close to her, who means so much. Turn there backs like they had nothing at all.
Jonah looked down at Melody, tugging on her arm so she can leave and not hear the cruel words of this plastic doll. But Melody shook him off "i want to hear what she has to say" Melody clenched her fist, and stared intently at the green eyes that of her bestfriend's, or well, ex best friend's.
Amora's eyes looked sorry, but it was over-powerered by that look of revenge, and regret, all mixed into one devilish mixture. Her emerald eyes have turned darker, despite the bright spotlight that shone on her.
"I'm sure you're all aware of Jonah Marais, the kid on the back of the class, the mystery of the school"
Jonah had no idea if he was meant to be offended or confused
"I don't care what you say, but i like that boy, I've liked him ever since he came into school"
Jonah turned red, and Melody simply looked down, completely aware of this already
" but the thing that hurt most, was that i told her, and i trusted her. And you know what she did? She stole Jonah right from under me. I tried to get close multiple times, and i was so close, Jonah liked me, i could tell! I dont know how she managed to do that, but she brainwashed him to like her. Look, he's her date for gods sake!
She didn't dare stop there, she showed no mercy. She began dating him and rubbing it in my face, bragging every single day. Luckily for Astrid and Rosaleen, they kicked her out of the group and showed me justice. I was there for her even then, but still, she didn't stop. She would make out with him in front of me like i was some sort of hostage.
Don't get fooled guys, dont ever be fooled by such childish behaviour"
With that, she strutted off, those fake tears starting to slip from her eye.
That's why she worse waterproof mascara today...
She had planned this all along
Melody couldn't believe all the lies that came out of her mouth. None of it was true, with an exception of the fact that Amora had a liking to Jonah. But the rest, was completely false.
Jonah yet again, tried to slip his arm around her waist, knowing that it wasn't true. but Melody broke free and ran, ran away from this mess of a prom. Tears streamed down her face and her heart clenched, just the thought of her best friend calling her out with lies just plain hurt. She bit her lip, trying to stop the endless waterfalls coming out from her damp face.
Until a whimper came out, and she knew, there was no way she could stop the water works this time.
She was crawled up against a bench in the nearby park that she visited quite often with the girls, where they were take countless selfies and photos for instagram. She missed those days, although she never really enjoyed posing in front of a camera.
There was this empty hole inside her, it's like losing every hope you have.
The only thing left was Jonah, and she's holding on as hard as she can.
Melody took a steady breath, collecting herself and raising her head, the colour drained out of her blue eyes.
She didn't see much before everything went black.
;
Jonah ran out of the hall, his eyebrows furrowed and his heart beating fast. He had lost her after she took a turn that was definitely not what he expected. He was too afraid to lose her, and he sent about 20 messages and called her about 5 times, none of them had she picked up.
He could imagine the girl crying, her hair drooping over her shoulders and tears flowing down her cheek. He hated it, he never wanted to see the girl sad, and it was partly his fault.
But he never knew Amora liked him like that
It was sad, but he only loved the girl he had currently lost.
He ran outside the campus, sweat rolling off his forehead and his eyes going from one part to another. Clutching his phone tightly, he looked towards the park.
Nothing.
He knew she went there a lot with the girls, but haven't been there for a while ever since the girls had broken up.
He wouldn't give up till he found her.
"Jonah, dear, did you see her?" Melody's mum ran out, puffing hard as she placed her hands on her knees, catching her breath. Jonah shook his head in frustrations, falling back onto the park bench. He was on the verge of tears as he buried his face in his hands, resting his elbow on his knees. He kept shaking his head, cursing himself silently for being so foolish and not following her straight away.
"Jonah! You LOST my sister!" Mabel screamed, pulling at her ponytail. Jonah tried to apologised, but without Melody here, all his words got stuck in his throat.
"Find her...please" Miles sighed, placing a hand on his shoulder "we're going to go the other direction to look"
The group walked off, leaving Jonah with a tear sitting on his eyes.
Until it dripped down.
He was crying, over a girl
Unkown
Come find her
