May Continued

Once again, Alden and Javi had some alone time, this time at the boardwalk.

"I can only imagine." Javi spoke sarcastically. They talked about their abnormally attractive kids and how they took advantage of that. "Chris and Santi both are hoes. I believe it's my karma from when I was pregnant with them. We don't talk about it anymore but I guess we should huh?" She told.

They sat on a bench, her eating another pretzel, something she'd been craving all week so far. "I didn't love you, I loved Sebastian. I was desperate and hurt and my life was a disappointment. Sebastian was toying with my emotions and I wanted to toy with his and that's how you got involved. Maxis was solely because I was attracted to him. And it was meant to be one time, but shit don't happen like it should. After that day of my moms funeral, I spent months after the twins were born, going to her grave and apologizing for that night. Im so disgusted at how I used to be before Chris, Santi, and Armani." She confessed.

Javi rubbed her back, "We all were a bunch of hot ass messes." She chuckled at him, finding his touch comforting.

"Although our kids are... what's the word...?" He pretended to ponder, Alden answering, "Hoes." Javi let out a laugh and smiled at her, "I was looking for a nicer word." Alden shrugged, "I call it like I see it."

They looked at the scene, deciding to head back to the hotel, hugging goodbye. As she made it back to her room, Sebastian was awake. "Where were you?" He asked. "N-no where." She told, going to change her clothes. "You're lying." He stood and went closer to her.

"Please don't do this with Armani in here." She whispered. Sebastian didn't give a fuck. His hand swiped across her cheek in a loud echo, waking Armani up. Alden panted, struggling against Sebastian as he pulled her hair back and shoved her to floor. "You act like I don't hear or see you with that bitch." Armani screamed, running to the conjoined door and pounding on it. Shortly after, the twins opened the door and saw what was going on.

"Hold up pops! What the fuck?" Santi pushed his pops off his mom and Chris helped his mom up. She was crying, wishing Armani and her twins didn't see that.

"Get the fuck out!" Santi pushed his father to the door. "Bitch I'm the one that paid for this shit." Santi squinted his eyes, "And you the one that's hittin' on mom, so fuck whatchu say." Santi continued to shove his dad out the door, and locked the door. "Ma you alright?" He asked, kneeling with his brother and sister, hugging her.

It was a long night.

After changing the keys, the kids took their mom to the fair.

Chynique was there and Santi went to speak to her. "So you owe me date." She reminded. "I gotchu I promise. But right now, my moms my main priority right now." Chy was concerned, "What happened?" Santi shook his head, "In due time I'll prolly tell you. But right now, it's private. I'll snap you up, and maybe see you tonight aight." Chy smiled at him, "Yeah." She gave him a hug and pecked his cheek. Santi returned to his mom who had a knowing look on her face. "What?" She shook her head and smirked.

They took a few selfies, one being set as Alden's new screensaver. They posed next to a relic at the fair, a statue of a submarine suit, a stranger taking the picture as they posed silly with it. Armani climbed on its back, Chris and Santi pretended they were holding a conversation with it, and Alden pretended to walk with it. Her kids truly brightened up her day.

"You going to see that girl?" Alden asked Santi. He nodded. "Words of advice: slow down. Think wit the head on your shoulders and not between your legs. Think wit your actual brain instead of getting it." Chris cackled at mom as Santi blushed and shook his head. "Trust me on this... At first,... thinking like you... I got pregnant with y'all and didn't know who the dad was until y'all were born. It was between your ugly ass sperm donor and Javi. Don't be like that. Life's too short to live with regrets but don't cut it shorter fucking dirty. You don't know what they got."

Santi took her words to heart. As he went on his date, he thought about the girls he's been with. Maybe it was time for him to slow down, do him and worry about getting his paper up instead. Truth be told, Chris was already done. He had something with Tamianne and he wanted to see where that went.

Chynique was beautiful and all, but did Santi want to settle with her? Did he really want her as much anymore? He met eyes with her, seeing how she was dressed in shorts and a crop top, some wedge heels on her pretty feet and Santi knew, "just one last time."

Eating cotton candy, making jokes, and playing games on the board walk at night seemed to be there perfect date. As they walked back to the empty beach, she laid a blanket down and they sat and watched the waves. He leaned to kiss her and took her breath away, edging to dangerous waters and treading through them softly. Throwing his protection away, he wished her a good rest of the trip and went about his way. Chynique didn't mind... not that he knew of.

On their plane back home, Sebastian was awkwardly placed next to their mom, her exhausted expression evident. "Ma. We can switch seats, if you want." Chris told. "I'm okay." Alden sighed. Everyone noticed the bruise on her eye. It wasn't huge but noticeable.

"I'm divorcing you." Alden told Sebastian. "I know." He shrugged. "And you're moving out." Sebastian chuckled. "The house is in my name. If anyone leaving it's you." Alden pulled her phone, scrolling to the picture. "Actually this house, because we moved, is in my name because you had shit credit score. Like I said... you're moving out."

As the plane landed and the family arrived back home, Sebastian went to pack in his wife's room, Alden and her sons smoking on the back porch. She was crying, wishing it turned out differently, but... she swallowed that pill and was moving forward. "I feel so cool, smoking with my mom." Chris laughed. "You so goofy nigga." Santi joined in.

"From now on... it's just us for a while." Alden told them. "Just us."
