Sebastian sat at the stool, talking to Devon, Alden's dad. "Yeah the twins are either upstairs or out." Seby spoke, dismissing the conversation.
"Call them. Its been a while. " Devon shoved his son in law's shoulder
"C'mon pops." Seby groaned much like a teenager, causing the elder to laugh. "Chris! Santi! Mani! Ven por favor!" (Come here).
The twins and youngest trot downstairs, annoyed with their father. "Si papa?" Armani called, her sweater dress fitting her five foot, curvy for a prepubescent teen frame, leggings covering her legs and Timberlands on her feet. Her barely past the shoulder length, brown curly hair was down, a pale pink beanie covering the top of her head.
Devon smiled at his granddaughter, "My oh my, aren't you beautiful just like your mom. "
"You gon' ignore us 'beulo?" Chris chuckled. The twins' diction was portrayed as kind of hood with broken Spanish. In other words, the duo spoke splanglish and also abbreviated the Spanish words.
The twins were dressed almost identical with their Abercrombie and Fitch long sleeve, grey shirt, baggy jeans that got slimmer down the leg, and a pair of black Timbs. The difference was: Santiago's shirt was actually black and he had a black beanie on.
"Oh I didn't forget about y'all." Devon engulfed them all in a hug. "It gets harder and harder to tell y'all apart."
"We'll make it simple. Chris has straight hair. " Santi gave a charming smile, pointing a thumb at his brother.
"So why were we called padre? I was beating these mofos in 2k16." Chris clapped his hands, getting ready to walk back up the steps.
"Te odio." Seby shook his head. ( I hate you)
Chris smiled and snapped into finger guns, replying, "Yo tambien te quiero, pops" (I love you too.)
"Its still amazing how all y'all speak Spanish. Even you Al." Devon turned to his daughter who finally took a break from cooking and sat on her husband's lap.
"I mean... I'm married to a Mexican. " She giggled.
"She was gonna be surrounded by it, she may as well learn the language." Seby added.
~Dinner~
"Alright. Santi say grace please, thank you." Alden called to her son as the family all sat at the table, hands joined together.
"Say no mo'e ma." Santi licked his lips before taking a deep breath.
"He wept. Amen."
Alden hit the back of his head, earning laughs from the family. "Stop playing boy."
"Lord, we thank you for another time together as a family. The last time I said grace, mom was pregnant with Armani, so Imma let her take it from here." Santi smoothly passed it to his sister, who expected and picked up with,"Bless the food so it does our bodies no harm and bless the cooks who prepared the food. In your son in Jesus name Amen."
"Y'all never fail to do the most." Alden's sister laughed.
"Ay mano! Pass the greens podrias?" Chris asked. (Would you)
"No soy tu esclava puta." (I am not your fucking slave.) He called back.
"Puta, si no lo hace-" (Bitch if you don't)
"Deje de maldecir a la mesa." Alden spoke, given them both a look before picking up the turkey carving knife. (Stop cursing at the table.)
"Si mama." They both murmured, causing the table to laugh once again.

After the festivities and everyone was settled in their rooms, Alden slept soundly on her side of the bed while Sebastian made a phone call to Javi.
"It's about time you picked up. I've been trynna contact you-" Javi started.
"I know. You've been trynna contact me ever since Al was pregnant with Armani and she's twelve now." Seby whispered harshly.
"I need to talk to you about the deal we made back at the hospital. " Javi told, "And since we're all going to the Bahamas in the summer, I just want you to keep up your part of the deal."
"I'm not stupid unlike you. I'll talk to you later. Bye." Seby hung up, letting out a frustrated groan.
"Wish I would've never made that deal."
