Chris was with his twin at a party with some friends. Kimmessi was there, Sofia, Tamianne, and their friends. He showed Tamianne more attention, she had his whole focus. And Sofia couldn't stand it.
"That bitch keep lookin' at me and imma smack ha cross eyed." Tamianne warned, making Chris laugh, his hand under her chin as he connected their lips. "Rock ha shit momma." Chris encouraged, the swaying the best of a song as he continued to kiss her.
Sofia huffed, standing next to Kimmessi, wondering what she did wrong. She had no idea what was up. "Why's he all up on that bitch for? I exist you fucking douche." She muttered. Kim sighed, "Maybe he not into anymore. I mean I fucked them both. I think you've been tossed, babe." Sofia smiled sarcastically, carefully yanking Kim from the back of her head, leaning in her towards ear. "I will personally cut you." Letting her go, Kim walked away, finding Santi talking to his guy friends from school, a red solo cup in his hand as he bobbed to the beat.
"Oh look. A hoe." Santi called as Kim made her presence known. Santi ran a hand through his curly hair, setting the cup down to put it in a ponytail. "So what the fuck you want, hoe?" Santi asked with an amused smile. His friend Sean looked at him in distaste. "You used to fuck heavy with her. Why the fuck you calling her out her name?" Santi looked at his friend, "Because you sensitive ass bitch, she fucked my brother and knew exactly what ha hoe ass was doing."
Sean shut up then, looking in his cup, Santi looking at the girl, "The fuck you want hoe?"
"Just wanted to tell you how Sofia man handled me." Kim pouted, crossing her arms and sniffling.
"Damn that sound like a you problem. Anyways!" He turned to his friend, a dark skinned girl walking up and him wrapping his arms around her, Chy. "Hey baby." He gushed, kissing her cheek a few times. She smiled lightly pushing him, "Whats good y'all?" The boys all greeted her with jaws dropped. "This that foreigner you snatched at the Bahamas?" Mario asked, licking his lips. "Yeah. Pick ya jaw up and wipe ya mouth. We out." Chy and Santi walked away and joined the other twin.
Armani smiled at River, him nervously asking her mom a question. Alden half smiled, knowing exactly what was up. "So... Mrs. Rojas... how was your trip?"
"It was wonderful. But please, call me Miss Al from now on." She tucked the signed divorce papers and court information in a Manila folder, managing to get every ounce of his money and then some. "You two go play in the front. I have to make a few phone calls."
The two scampered off in a giggly mess, residing on the couch. "You chickened out." Armani laughed. "I know. But your moms so pretty. She makes me nervous." River reminded. "What happened to your dad?" Armani looked away, "Mom and him broke up. He was hitting on her." Tears weld in her eyes, letting them roll down. "She's pretending it didn't happen and she's hurting so much." River comforted the girl, rubbing her back.
"Hello?" She heard on the receiver. "Hey Lauryn, down to help me out really quickly?" The woman yelled, "Yah girl always! What you need?" Alden sighed, "Come with me to see Sebastian."
"Are you sure?"
"I need this. I spent seventeen, eighteen years with this man."
Alden walked up to the small home, knocking on it with urgency. She was nervous, melancholy, nostalgic, feeling several emotions all at once. The door creaks open to an old woman she recognized as his mother. She moved to the side quietly, Alden walking in.
Leaning against his door she and him met eyes. "What you want?" He asked.
"Closure." She started.
"The only closure you gettin is when that door hit yo ass on the way out. Get the fuck out Alden." Sebastian was raising his voice, standing abruptly and hands balling.
"Why did you start hitting me?" She asked in a cowardly voice. Her back hit the hallway wall, and treading to her.
"You fucking divorce me and ask me why-" Anger boiled in his blood, him raising a fist to hit her, getting knocked away by Lauryn.
"What happened to the guy I went to school with? The one who was overjoyed to be a dad, the one who was crying at his own fucking wedding?" Ryn asked in a broken tone. She didn't want to believe the guy she called friend, seriously changed.
Ryn tugged Alden out as she let tears fall. "I just wanted to know what happened to him." Alden told, wiping her tears.
"You know what you need to do." Lauryn told, them sitting in the car.
Without hesitation, they went home, picked up her daughter and went back out again.
River was tucked in the back seat, awkwardly wondering what happened.
"Mom what's going on?" Armani asked.
"Chris, Santi. I'm sending you an address to meet me at. I need to tell you all at once what's going to happen.
Shitting bricks, on edge the whole family was shaken at the thought of some important news. Armani was the most effected granted but Alden needed all of her children there. All of them.
What was to happen? How did the happy home crumble? Life seemed to go well for them until tonight so what was happening in the June night, warm sky?
Lauryn and the small children sat on a bench while Santi and Chris pulled up in panic.
"Momma why we at the police station?" Chris asked, Tami behind him and Chy next to her.
"I'm... Im taking your father to the police. Im going to see if I can him put in jail." Alden announced.
Armani didn't speak words, shock consumed her and her body gave out, darkness took her vision as she fell back, River catching her.
Armani blacked out.
