As I wake up in the middle of the night to a loud noise I see something or someone outside my window.

"Oh hell nah." I said to myself as I grabbed my gun out the drawer next to me. I got out of bed with the fully load gun and quietly got closer. As I got closer I saw the figure smile and I pulled the trigger. Nothing.

"What the hell I could've sworn I loaded this gun." I said. I quickly grabbed my mace as the figure moved but it disappeared afterwards. I opened my window and nothing absolutely nothing was there.

"Oh hell nah." I said then closed my window then locked it. I put on my robe and my yellow crocs and grabbed my car keys to go to Marcus house cause my ass sure wasn't staying here for the night. I open the garage and got into my car but as I looked back the figure was there. I felt my heart beating out my chest as it smiled at me. I told myself it was just a dream but it felt so real I didn't believe it. I closed my eyes counted to 3 then opened them and he was gone. I could feel the tears falling down my face because wow that was scary. I pulled out the driveway and headed to Marcus's house paranoid as fuck and boy was he upset.

"Why the fuck are you here." He said.

"Something happened at my house." I said.

"It's 5 am." He said.

"Marcus let me in and I'll explain." I said. He sighed then let me in and I explained every little detail to him.

"See I told you." He said pouring some tea.

"Marcus I'm fucking scared. I don't even know who this is." I said.

"And depending on how smart he is. You won't find out." He said.

"We have to find him then." I said.

"Ha! Good luck. You've seen crime shows. You'll never find him unless you think like a stalker." He said.

"The best you can do is nothing. Darkness will come to light doll." He said then kissed my forehead.

"Now go to sleep dumb bitch." He said. I didn't get much sleep that night but when I woke up all I could see is that Shadowy figure.

"Morning sleep beauty." Marcus said walking in the room.

"Morning." I said.

"Didn't sleep much did you?" He said.

"No. I'm scared Marcus. What does this person want from me?" I said.

"Who knows." He said with a slight shrug. He went to the kitchen and I sat there in silence then grabbed my phone. I saw I had a message from Melo and it read "You free tonight? We should hang or something" I replied saying sure since my dad wants me to date him soooo bad. He replies with the time he's finna pick me up and it was a surprise where we were going. I head to the kitchen where Marcus is sitting on his laptop.

"Wassup?" He said taking a sip of his coffee.

"Me and Melo are hanging tonight." I said.

"Oh how nice." He said.

"You wanna help me pick my outfitttt." I said.

"Orrrrr you could stay and paint with me." He said with a smile.

"I would love too buttttt I wanna hang out with Melo." I said.

"Fine." He said as he rolled his eyes.

"Yayyyy! Let's go to my closet." I said grabbing his arm.

"I like how you call it your closet when it's my house." He said.

"You do the same thing." I said. We got to my room and opened up my closet to pick the best apparel to wear.

"Where are y'all even going?" He said.

"Its a surprise." I said picking up a shirt.

"Ask him if you should be dressed down or up." He said.

"You're righttt." I said pulling out my phone.

"He said wear something comfortable." I said.

"Bet I got you boo." He said. After 30 years we finally got a outfit together and Melo texted me telling me he was on his way. But baby I was most definitely not ready.

"Oh shit." I said dropping my hot pocket and running to my room.

"Bitch if you drop another damn hot pocket in my house again imma beat yo fucking ass." Marcus said yelled. After 15 minutes I come out fully dressed with just a tad bit of makeup cause you know A girl was rushing and I saw Melo chilling on the sofa.

"Look at my best friend." Marcus said. Coming out of the kitchen.

"Okay bitch I'm tired of you." I said.

"Wassup Karoline." Melo said smiling at me.

"Hey Melo." I said flashing a smile back.

"You look amazing." He said.

"Why thank you same to you as well." He said.

"Are y'all finna fuck or go out?" Marcus said causing me to laugh a little.

"We'll be back Marcus." He said letting out a smile laugh.

"Have her home by 11!" Marcus yelled and I mouthed shut up to him as he laughed.

"That movie was amazing right?" I said.

"Hell yeah." Melo said as he grabbed a slice of pizza.

"Oh I'll be right back I gotta go wash my hands." I said.

As Karoline walked away I pulled out my phone and I saw someone standing in front of me so I looked up.

"Long time no see Melo." They said.

"What are you doing here Eli." I said.

"I see you're dating again. Remember what happened to Ashley." He said with that grin.

"How do you know about Karoline?" I said.

"I know everything ." He said in my ear.

"What do you want?" I said.

"Just paying a old friend a visit and meet his little girlfriend." He said.

"We're not friends and Karoline are just friends." I said.

"So I suppose you wouldn't mind if anything happened to her like Ashley huh?" He said.

"Don't you dare lay a finger on Karoline." I said.

"Haha. You're cute when you're possessive but I make no promises Lamelo. I'll see you later. Old friend." He said walking away then disappearing into the crowd.
