"So you're going to London?" Jovanni said pouring me some tea.

"I mean I'm not sure yet honestly." I said as I took a sip.

"Look don't let the fact you're leaving your friends behind stop you from going. There's so many things out there that you deserve to see." He said. I slightly smiled at him as he glanced at me as he took a sip from his tea as well.

"Thank you Jovanni." I said giving him a fat hug.

"You're welcome." Smiling at me. We stared at each other with an awkward silence and he began to lean in until I got a call. I break the moment to check my phone and it's Melo.

"I'm sorry I gotta... yeah." I said pointing at my phone and answering it.

"Wassup?" I said.

"You busy?" He said.

"I'm at a friends house but we're just chilling. Wassup?" I said.

"I need to talk to you." He said.

"Okay. Um I'll stop by when I get home an-"

"Now." He said cutting me off.

"Oh. Ok-" I said then he hung up.

"I gotta go. Thank you so much for listening to me and for the amazing tea." I said grabbing my stuff.

"Of course." He said getting up and walking towards me slowly.

"I'll see you later." I said as I hugged him and he grabbed my arm and pulled me in.

"Since we were interrupted." He said then kissing me on the cheek. My cheeks flushed red as I stood there in shock and he walked away.

"Stay safe." He said as he walked away. This mother fucker. I walked outside cheesing hard as hell all the way to my car. As I got in my car I let out a squeal and became to do a little dance. After I did all of that I got myself together and drove to Melo's house

I'm sitting in my room pacing back and forth wondering how the fuck I'm going to handle this.

"It's cute to see you so geeked over someone." Eli said sitting in my chair.

"How did you get in here?!" I said charging towards him.

"Don't worry. I'm not here to hurt anyone. Not yet at least." He said with a smirk.

"You're not gonna hurt anybody Eli." I said.

"Whatever you say. Why do you care for this girl so much anyways? What's so special about her?" He said. Ignored him and continued thinking about how I'm going to ask Karoline to be my girlfriend.

"Hey! I'm talking to you dick head." He said waving his hand at me.

"Just shut up ok!" I snapped.

"Oh you're getting bold." He said standing up.

"You can't control me anymore." I said. He approached me and stood right in front of me and looked dead into my soul.

"You don't get that choice. I do what I want when I want Melo. And if I decide you don't deserve to be with her then that's how it's gonna be. You hear me?" He said pointing his finger in my face. I pushed it out of my face and gritted my teeth as I stared back in his soul.

"You don't rule me anymore. Ashley is gone and you had your fun. I won't let you ruin this. Not again. Never again." I said.

"Yeah we'll see about that Melo. You getting out of hand lately I think you need to get put back in place. I put fear into your heart and you know that. No matter what. Imma always be in your head Melo. You could get the help you need and it would neverrrr be enough. I run this shit. Not you." He said getting in my face.

"Yeah we'll see about that Eli." I said shoving him as I walked past. I sit down on my bed just thinking how I'm going to do this and a knock at my door. I stand up and fix myself a bit and head to the door to open it.

"Hey Melo!" She said flashing me with that beautiful smile that absolutely hypnotizes me. I give her a slight hug and I offer her to come in and she sits on my bed. I close my door and I face towards her and take a breath.

"Is everything ok?" She said.

"Of course of course. It's just this event coming up and I was just wondering. Would you like to be my date?" I said. My heart dropped to my ass and my ass cheeks were covered with sweat and she slightly smiled.

"I would love to be your date Melo." She slightly chuckled.

"Really?" I said feeling a bit of relief. She nodded and I loosened up.

"Cool. Okay it's Thursday at 7 pm. I'll pick you up and if you need help picking out an outfit or anything please don't hesitate to let me know. I'll do anything if you need anything." I said.

"You don't have to worry bout that for real. Thank you so much though." She said standing and walking towards me. She grabbed my face and gave me a kiss on the cheek and smiled at me. I swear my cheeks grew red as shit after that and I smiled.

"You wanna watch our show or something?" I said pointing at my tv. She smiled and nodded and laid down on the bed.

"Imma go get some snacks just put it on."  I said. I left out the room and as I was heading downstairs I saw Eli standing at the bottom with a cigarette.

"I see how good that went. Just don't get too attached. You wouldn't want anything bad happening to someone you love so dearly." He said taking a drag on his cigarette.

"You're a disgusting creature." I said walking past him to the kitchen.

"Keep up Melo. You know I always get my way." He said. I walked back upstairs heart racing as all types of thoughts ran through my mind. Not this time. Not again I refuse to let him have anymore control over me and my life.
