The room begins to spin as I look down at My hands as Eli sits and laughs at me from the other side of the room. Did I accidentally kill my girlfriend? No this can't be real. Wake up Melo come on. His laugh grows louder and louder until it's this unbearable pain stabs me in my head.

"STOP!" I yelled covering my ears and falling to the ground as tears run down my face. Am I a monster? What if someone finds out? What if I get arrested? All these thoughts run through my mind and my headache grows bigger and bigger as Eli just sits and laughs at me. I quickly jump out of my sleep waking Karoline. I forgot I let her spend the night with me.

"Is everything alright?" She said tired as shit.

"Yeah just a bad dream." I said.

"You're too old to get nightmares hun. Now go to sleep." She said turning back over. I took a couple of breaths then I decided I'd go to the kitchen to get something to drink. I'm pouring my glass of water and I just keep replaying that dream over and over again. Although it was only a dream what if Eli really did make me kill Ashley? But that's not important right now. What's important is keeping Karoline safe. No matter what at all costs I'm going to keep her safe.

I had so much fun with Melo last night we went go cart racing and then went to a arcade and hanged out for a bit then he said I could stay the night. He was going to sleep on the floor but I insisted he sleep in the bed with me. It was really nice.

"Morning Mrs.Tina." I said walking downstairs.

"Hey sweetheart. Would you like some breakfast?" She said stirring the eggs.

"I'll just take a fruit cup at work. Thank you so much doe." I said. I gave her a quick hug then I headed to to the door as someone walks in and I bump into them.

"Oh I'm so sorry." I said.

"You're good Karoline." Melo said slightly laughing.

"Oh hey Melo. Thank you so much for last night." I said hugging him.

"No problem. We should hang out some more if you ever get a chance you know." He said.

"Fasho I would absolutely love that." I said smiling at him.

"Great. I'll talk to you later. Have a good day at work." He said.

"Yeah I'll speak- I mean talk to you later." I said. God I'm awkward as fuck.

"Alright bye." He said with a wave. As I waved back I ran into the door.

"Pretend you ain't see that." I said as his mom slightly laughed. I opened the door and I went out to my car. Did I just embarrass myself in front of Lamelo fucking Ball? I think I did. I got into the car and drove to school cause I had a class to at 10 it was my veterinarian class.

"That's all for today class you're dismissed." My professor said.

"Hey Karoline!" I heard someone say. I turned around to my old roommate Stacy.

"Oh wassup Stacy." I said.

"I have a question. Do you know Jovanni?" She said.

"Yeah." I said.

"Can you give me a favor and give him my number please. You're so sweet and nice and it would be greatly appreciative." She said with a huge smile on her face.

"Um. Sure I guess." I said.

"Thanks love you're amazing! I'll see you later." She said then walked away. Ugh I cannot stand her ass. She's so annoying and conceited. I walked to my car after that and as I was walking to my car I saw Melo chilling in the parking lot then he saw me.

"Oh wassup!" He said.

"Um why are you here?" I said.

"What is there a problem with me being here?" He said.

"No no no you're good I just wanna know cause it's kinda weird." I said with a slight laugh.

"Oh my bad." He said rubbing the back of his neck.

"You're good. Did you need anything?" I said.

"No I just wanted to hang out today. You know grab something to eat, chill out, chat some more." He said.

"Aw I'm sorry Melo but I have so much to do today." I said.

"Need any help with anything?" He offered.

"No no no I couldn't ask you to do that for me." I said.

"I want to though. You don't need all that stress on you it's bad for your beautiful skin." He said kinda making me blush.

"Well I need to go pick up some dogs from the shelter." I said.

"Which shelter?" He said.

"Never mind I can't ask you to do that for me." I said.

"No no no I'm gonna help you." He said with a smile.

"The one on St Rose." I said with a big ass smile.

"Ok I got you." He said. He smiled then got into his car then drove off. He's honestly way sweeter than I thought. Maybe my dad is actually right about something.
