He's Back

I walk over to her and lean down, I reach my hand over to the lamp next to her. I flick it on, seeing her eyes glued to me. I walk away and turn on other lights, I then turn to the couch and lean my body against it. I cross my arms, waiting for her to talk. I just watch as she picks her nails, wanting me to start to conversation.

(Y/N)- "Thank you" She stops and looks up at me confused.

(Ada)- "For what exactly?" She states while tilting her head towards the right. I stand up straight and pull a chair next to her.

(Y/N)- "Giving him to me, knowing your feelings. You gave up on him, and I thank you for that." She scoffs and crosses her legs over another.

(Ada)- "When you left, it was only him and I. Knowing that you were back I felt that he was yours, I wouldn't want to take that from you." I smile and look down, once I look up I see her face in terror. 

(Y/N)- "Yeah, yeah I know. My eyes are yellow, it was by the virus." She laughs a bit and looks down to her lap and looks up at me. "Sorry for what I did back there, I was so tired of people keeping secrets that I..felt like I was back at Umbrella again."

(Ada)- "I'm sorry, although I brought another gift for you." I look up and chuckle, she pulls out a box with a bow on it. "Protection"

(Y/N)- "Questionable..." I take the box and unwrap the bow carefully, I toss it over the side table and lift the top. Watching it become undone, my eyes widen seeing the item. "A key?"

(Ada)- "I bought you a place, closer to Leon. Even though most of the time he won't be there, you will" I smile and lift the key, looking over to a sleeping Winter. "My treat."

(Y/N)- "Alright, I'll start packing tonight." I put the key back and set it aside, seeing her check her watch. A screen pops up, I read the message with her, seeing she has to go.

(Ada)- "Mission, I'll call you in if anything happens." She stands and starts walking off, I follow her out the door, she opens it. While walking to her car she turns around and smirks, "Chris will be here in the morning." I nod, she waves and I shut the door.

Hopefully this will be the last time I have to move, it's for the better. Even though I'll miss this place. I walk over to the patio window, seeing the garden I've made with Leon. I smile and notice that these beautiful plants will go to the new house owner. I text Hunnigan, seeing her respond quick. I toss my phone to the couch and start packing.

(Time Skip)

I finish packing half of the house, I huff and see other stuff around. I go over to my coffee machine and make  myself some. I watch the hot substance pour into my cup, I lift it and take a sip. Feeling already refreshed and worked up. I take another sip, I close my eyes enjoying the taste. I open my eyes and place down my cup, I look over to my patio glass door and see a man. 

I quickly duck down and take a knife, I flip it in my hand for combat. I peak over and see the man walking closer. I touch my back pocket reaching for my phone, remembering it's on the couch. Damn! I see the man focusing on Winter, I quickly slide over to the couch, noticing the man looking for me. I grab my phone and dial Leon quickly, I hold it up to my face seeing the man jiggle the door handle. 

I close my eyes, hoping he'll will answer. I hear the rings match with my heartbeat, feeling my breathing get rapid. I close my eyes and think where my weapons are, my room! I hold the phone tightly and see the man open the door, I get up and run over to my room. I hear his heavy footsteps coming closer. I turn into the room and slam the door, I lock it and back up.

(Leon)- "Y-Y/N are you there?" I gasp and shove the knife into my shoe, I walk over to my drawer and pull out a pistol.

(Y/N)- "Yeah, yeah. There's a man in my house, he's trying to get in the room." A bang erupts from the door, I gasp loudly from shock. 

(Leon)- "Try to stay put, go in the bathroom. I know who it could be, he still is alive." I run over to the bathroom and lock myself in, noticing the window.

(Y/N)- "Mark's virus it could still be developing, just like mine. He-he..." I then hear the door frame slowly give out. "He's almost in, if he gets to the bathroom i'll hop out the window."

(Leon)- I then hear him tell the driver to turn here, "Good idea, I'll be there soon. I love you--" My eyes widen, while hearing him say..I open my mouth to respond until I hear a bang at the bathroom door, I drop the phone. It lands in the toilet.

Nice one Y/N. I quickly arm myself with the pistol, I aim and open the window. I climb on the sink and wait. Mark busts through the door and smiles at me, I quickly shoot him while falling back out the window. I close it and land on my back, seeing him punch the glass.
