It was already afternoon when you recalled the voices of the Karasuno Boy's Volleyball Club. You remember the sound of the ball in rallies, when they served and when it bounced. You weren't so sure if you were ready to face them all again, considering the fact that you barely know anyone but you knew you had to.
You looked at yourself in the mirror before you left the train. It was only yesterday that you were sitting on the exact same spot on your way to Tokyo and now, you're going back, determined to fix the mess you got yourself into. You looked at your newly cut hair and you also recall your aunt doing it for you. Afterall, she used to be a hair stylist.
You walked on the platform all the way to the bus station. The bus ride isn't suppose to take too long, you hoped that you'd make it on your planned time. When you got into the bus, you were feeling a mix of joy, sadness, excitement and nervousness. It didn't matter that you felt a combination of emotions, you wanted to pour it all out to him. You knew he'd listen.
You stared at your surroundings. You spotted the streets you walked with him and the place he took you to and not so long after, you arrived at your stop. "Finally," you muttered.
Karasuno Volleyball Gym
You were finally one step away from the gym. You were literally facing the door and all you had to do is to open it with the courage you gathered last night.
It opened and to your surprise, it was Yamaguchi.
"Oh, Y/N," he said in a tone you couldn't completely understand. Was he confused as to why you're there? Was he disappointed you even had the audacity to show up?
"Yamaguchi, hey, is Kei there? Is he with you?" you asked.
"No, he said he didn't want to train for some reason," he answered.
You looked at your watch, it has only been 10 minutes since classes ended and you hoped that you'd be able to catch up.
"Alright, thanks," you said with a smile.
You started to run. There was no way you could meet him anywhere near his house. This was probably your only chance.
"Kei," you muttered his name as you increased your pace and reached the gate. You looked left and right but you couldn't spot him.
"Y/N?"
You turned around and you see a blonde boy. He wasn't Kei, he's Akiteru. There he was, in a short distance, removing his earphones.
"Ah, it really is you," he said while he approached you.
"Akiteru? Why are you here?" you ask.
"I wanted to go to the gym to talk with the volleyball team. I'm from here too, you know. But hey, I'm glad I found you too. Two birds with one stone."
"Do you know where Kei is?" you asked.
"At home now," he answered you. "You can talk to him if you want. Mom won't be home until tomorrow."
"Really?" you spoke with a softer tone.
"Yeah, you should go."
You paused, unable to decide.
"Oh well, you guys take your time, I have plans tonight," Akiteru told you before he left.
You took a deep breath and walked towards his house. You didn't know what to say anymore. Should you continue what you planned?
Tsukishima Residence
You knocked at the door and hoped for the best. It didn't take a while for someone to open it.
There he was, standing right next to you with an expression you couldn't quite understand.
"Y/N, you came here," he mumbled.
"Yeah, can I come in? Please," you requested. He nodded and you entered.
After a while, you took a seat in the couch as you stared at the coffee table in front of you. Kei also took a seat next to you, facing the black screen of the TV.
"Kei!" you looked at him as you see him standing right in front of you. You felt your heart beat faster and your eyes tear up. He was speechless and he had a surprised look on his face.
