You stared at the plain ceiling of your room as you lay in bed. It was a tiring but fulfilling day. You felt sad for thinking, at some point, that you had to break up just because of it.

You grabbed your phone from your nightstand and texted Kei.

"Hey, thanks for today."

"Thanks. I didn't think you were so loud and brave," he replied.

"Do you want another love confession?"

It took a while before you received a reply. Typical Kei.

"I'm not saying I don't want another one," he finally replied.

You smiled and pressed the call button. He probably wasn't expecting a call but he picked it up quickly.

"I love you, Kei Tsukishima. I can't wait to see you again tomorrow."

"Me too, I..."

"You what?" you said and let out a soft giggle.

"Love you."

"Really?"

"Yes."

"Ah, I didn't hear it, can you say it again?"

"Hey, you already heard it."

"Are you blushing right now?"

"Absolutely not."

"Yeah right," you told him and laughed.

"Aren't you going to sleep yet?" he asked.

"I'm already in bed, I'm just thinking of what happens tomorrow."

"Ah, we're gonna eat steak tomorrow. It's a little fancy, but don't worry about it. You'll be fine."

"What should I wear? Do you want to wear matching clothes? That'll be so cool."

"M-matching?"

"Yeah, like, matching colors," you told him.

"I'll just wear a shirt and trousers. Nothing special."

"What color?"

"Ah, you really want to match."

"You don't want to?"

"Did I say no?" he said. You hear him chuckle.

"Black trousers and maroon shirt," he answered.

"Alright, see you then. Goodnight Kei, I love you."

"Wait don't hang up yet."

"Yeah?"

"I'll pick you up tomorrow 6PM, okay? Okay. Goodnight, I love you too."

You immediately felt asleep, forgetting to end the call. You couldn't recall anything after that and the next morning, strangely, you felt at ease. Today is gonna be a good day, you told yourself.

You got up and did your routine. Take a bath, eat, study, and of course, bake, your favorite part of the weekend. However, you were unsure on what to do. Cheesecake bites, strawberry macarons, chocolate chip cookies, tart maybe? a pie?

You sat down on the living room and browsed through the cooking channel.

"Now, its time to get the ingredients for our mini cinnamon rolls!" the host said.

"Hmm, mini cinnamon rolls aren't so bad," you mumbled as you switched off the television. You had your own recipe and prepared your ingredients.

The smell of cinnamon hasn't left the kitchen although you were done cleaning everything up. You looked at the box of cinnamon rolls and felt proud as you managed to put it in a cute little container.

"Okay, well, I need to prepare now."

You went to your room and looked at the array of clothes hanging in your wardrobe.

"Maroon and black," you mumbled as you tried to pick.

"Ah, here we go," you said as you set your eyes on a maroon dress.

It was a little sparkly but you still think its not that fancy, which is good.

"Now, I just need some flats or something."

You looked for your shoe boxes and checked them one by one.

"I need a black one."

And at last, you found your black gladiator sandals. It fit well with your outfit as you looked at yourself at the mirror.

"There, not too fancy but still good," you complimented yourself.

You decided to change already and when you were finished, you looked at yourself again.

"Well, this is nice."

Then, you grabbed your small makeup bag and cluelessly did your best. You curled your lashed, put on mascara, did your brows and put on some tint.

"There we go, not so bad, Y/N," you mumbled.

There was one last thing you needed to do- your hair. You didn't really know what to do with it, a ponytail would look too casual but putting it down would look a bit unruly.

You picked up your brush and went with whatever you could think of as of the moment.

"A half up half down bun maybe? I think that's cute?" you thought.

All of a sudden, you hear someone knock. It was probably Kei.

"Oh no, uh oh," you muttered.

You simply did a half up half down bun and thankfully, it didn't become as unruly as you expected.

"Alright, ready to go!"

You turned off the lights and grabbed your purse. You hurried to the door and took a deep breath.

You opened the door and saw him standing and waiting.

"Hey," you said in a soft and shy voice.

"Oh, wow."

Kei seemed to be quite in awe and you also found yourself to be looking at him the same way.

"Wow, you look cool," you complimented him.

"Same goes for you, you look pretty, it's, uh, stunning," he said in a lower hushed voice.

You notice him becoming shyier and after closing the door, you grabbed his arm.

"Let's go," you said.

"You look, really.." he said in a more moderate voice, "beautiful."

You looked at his blushing face and he had to cover his face with his other hand as he noticed your gaze.

"Oh, Kei," you called his name with a smile.
