17. love

once my hands were free and i was laid down, i reached over to grab Jessica's hand only to feel the cold metal ambulance.

I immediately sat up, pushing the nurse off of me. she gave me a confused and angry look.

"where did the girl next to me go" I asked almost saying her name but remembering the nurse doesn't know her.

"oh she just walked off... but we don't need her" the woman pushed my back down on the back of the car.

she started to kiss my neck but I pushed her off once again. this time I hopped of the back of the car, leaving her there.

as I walked away I flipped her off, she gave me a dirty look and turned back around. i sighed angrily and walked over to some of the cops and detectives that were still there. i asked all of them continuously where she had come but none of them had known.

"what fucking ever, you guys are no help"

i grabbed my phone and unlocked it. i went into the messages app and texted Jess hoping she would answer.

M- hey baby, were did you go!!

*10 minutes later*

J- why do you care you were to busy flirting with tht slutty paramedic

M- no i wasn't! she was flirting with me i didn't do anything

i texted her angrily as i sat down on the sidewalk near the movie theater.

J- you pushed my hand away to take off your shirt for her!

M- that was only bc i had to show her the cut!!

J- whatever, but why do you want to know where i am

M- i was worried after you just left me there

J- well i walked to the hospital were makaylin and calum are

M- okay ill see you there in a few

i closed the messages app and opened up directions to the nearest hospital. i followed the roads and finally got there in 20 minutes. i was panting and my legs were weak when entered the large building.

Jessica's POV

i cant believe he had the nerve to just text me and act like he did nothing. at the moment i wanted nothing to do with him. me and makaylin wanted nothing to do with calum and Michael for a while.

"he said he will be here in a few" i told makaylin.

"oh okay" she responded frowning a bit.

"yeah, i don't know what to say to him though.."

"just tell him how you feel about what happened"

"okay ill try that but he will just keep making excuse"

"at least you ll get somewhere with the matter"

"true ahah" i chuckled.

"so..have you heard One Direction's new song?" makaylin spoke cheerfully.

"fireproof?"

"yeah!! isn't it a great song!"

"mhm i really like it, did calum tell you about there band?" i asked hoping i didn't ruin a surprise or anything.
