Chapter 3o

THIS IS 3 MONTHS LATER

SEVERIDES POV.

Ev wakes me up in the middle of the night.

"Babe!" She pats my shoulder.

"What's wrong Ev?" I turn on the lamp.

"I'm having the worst contractions." she says holding her stomach.

She gets out of bed and there's a wet spot on the bed. I've seen this before.

"Ahhhhh!" She screams.

"Honey. I think your water just broke. The bed is wet where you were sitting. I jump out of bed and put a shirt on and shoes.

I put a sweat shirt on her and we go to the ER.

I go to Casey and Dawson's room.

"Hey guys I'm taking Ev to the hospital. Her water just broke."

"Oh god! Goodluck"

I tell Shay the same.

And she comes with us.

We drive there and they take her immediately.

Shay is sitting in a chair and I'm standing next to Ev.

She is visibly uncomfortable.

"Honey. It will be ok"i touch her head

"Don't fucking touch me right now Kelly"

"Ok"

"Kelly,she is having mood swings. She will say some stuff she doesn't mean during this ok." Shay says.

"I know"

In a few minutes the doctor comes to Check her

"Oh yeah. This baby needs to be delivered now!"

I'm standing beside Ev. Holding her hand.

"Ok honey we are going to need for you to push!"

"1,2,3 push!" The doctor says.

She pushes and during that she screams. and says "fuck Kelly why did you do this to me"

"1,2,3, push". She screams again. And says "I'm never sleeping with you again!"

"1,2,3 push she squeezes my hand really hard this time.

"Ok one more ok Evelyn.ready push!"

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!" She screams. And squeezes the crap out of my hand.

Then she breathes really heavy.

And we hear a baby cry. "It's a girl". The doctor says. "Born July 9th 2:20 Am"

Ev looks at me sweaty and exausted and smiles. I smile back.

They Give her to us quick before they clean her up.

Ev smiles again and says.

"It's our baby"

And I reply. "yes it is"and smile.

They take her and clean her and do everything they need to before returning her to us in a hour.

Which we already picked a name.

"Kelly Richardson severide "

I hold my baby girl for the first time.

"Hi Kelly. I'm daddy. I love you"
She just looks up at me with big and extremely bright blue eyes. She makes a noise. Kind of Like a squeak.

"Shay. Do you want to hold her?"

She smiles "of course"

I hand her to her.

"Hi kelly,im aunt Shay."

I was going to give her back to Ev. But Ev is just starting to fall asleep.

I put the baby in the bed they gave us her in. I take a picture of her.

"I'm going to let you sleep. Love you"

"Bye honey I love you, bye shay"

Now It's 4am. As we are leaving i get a call from Casey. That Dawson was just admitted because her water broke too.

Wow. Look at that.

"Ok we will wait here then"

"What happened Kelly?" Shay asked.
"Dawson's water just broke"
"Oh wow. I videoed the birth if you ever want see that again. I mostly shot her yelling at you because that was hilarious!"

CASEYS POV

Shay comes in the room and sits in a chair.

"Time for round 2" she says. She starts to video.

I laugh.

Gabby snaps "are you laughing right now?.. don't you dare even frickin breathe right now Matthew."

"Ok babe"

"Don't fucking call me that Matt. Don't go there right now I'll kill you"

"She seems happy" Shay says.

I nod.

She starts to scream and the doctor comes in.

"Babies here!"

"Ready push!"

She screams "Fuuuuuuuckkk"

"Push again!"

"How did I let you do this to me Matthew!!" She screams.

"Push!"

I try to hold her hand to help. And she keeps pushing but glares at me.

"Don't touch me casey! Don't even look at me"

"One more!"

"Ughhhhhh!"

"Wahhahha"

She pants. Like a dog without water. And throws her head back.

"Damn. That hurt like a motherfucker." she sighs.
