SEVERIDES POV.

Me and Casey are holding our babies in the room we made. The girls went down stairs.

They are both still very small. They still look as if the were just born.

Mine has started to get dark brown fuzz on her head and has a lighter shade of brown too.

We are standing there feeding them bottles and rocking them in our arms.

"Look at us Casey."

"Haha yeah"

"Our first days on shift we would have never thought we would be here huh"

"Nope. I remember that day perfectly"

"Me too"

*flashback* from Casey's POV.

I walk into firehouse 51 for the first time.

I'm Holding my duffel bag and make my way into the building.

Today is everyone on this shifts first day.

I'm a lieutenant,i passed the test.

I hear that the squad lieutenant is kind of an ego maniac,But good looking.

I walk in and I see a guy walking around. Shirtless. hmm who on earth...

He looks at me. And nods his head hello at me. Then said.

" lieutenant severide. Squad3.You?"

"Lieutenant Casey. truck 81."

We shake hands.

"So did your shirt fall off or...." I asked wittily

He smirks. "No just don't like wearing shirts"

"Oh. Interesting" I say.

I walk away and I see a girl. Hmm that's cool.

Oh wait she's taking something out of an ambulance. She turns around.

She is the most beautiful girl I've ever seen.

"Hi" I say stupidly.

She smiles and blushes.

"Hey. I'm Dawson. p.i.c ambo 61"

I wave and see a blonde girl. Hmm cute.

"Hey"

"Hi. I'm shay"

"Casey"

"Firefighter?"

I nod. "Lieutenant"

"Oh cool" she smiles.

SEVERIDES FLASHBACK POV.

I'm walking into my first shift at firehouse 51.

It is a nice house. I hear it's a hard working one.

It's Perfect for me.

I hope there's cool people. I need people who really care about me. Not fakers like my crappy father.

I march in and I'm one of the first.

Hmm

I'm getting hot so I take my shirt off.

Better.

Theres 1 girl here and 3 guys.

One guy with black curly hair and another with no hair and another with short grayish brown hair.

I Walk over.

"Hey. Lieutenant severide" I wave.

"Hey"

"Hi"

"What's up" he fumbles. "..Sir"

"Nice house huh"

"Yeah."

Now I say hi to the girl. She's really cute. I think she's Spanish or something because her skin is darker.

"Hello there." I lean against the ambo. And smile flirty.

She smiles.

"Hi. Dawson" she shakes my hand.

"Severide,lieutenant"

"Ohh"

"I'm the p.i.c"

"Cool. Who's your partner?"

"Ummm a Leslie shay. Hasn't gotten here yet"

"Another girl. Wow isn't this gonna work out for everyone."

I laugh.

"Haha yeah" she stares quickly at my abs.

Then I'm hit with something.

"What the hell?!" I turn around to see a pretty blonde girl. It was her duffel bag.

"Oops. Sorry sweety"

"Hey no. It's all good."

"So your a firefighter?"

"Yup. Lieutenant"

"Cool. You seem stereotypical though"

"Why?"

"Well first off the lack of clothes"

"Haha you like it?"

"Hmm that's complicated"

"Why, am I that ugly" I smile.

"No. It's just....my girlfriend wears a shirt,most of the time"

"Oh really well i..g-g-g-girlfriend.."

"Haha yeah."

"Is she hot?"

She pushes me.

"Shut up!"

She laughs and I laugh.

"Hmm your cool shay"

"Your not half bad lieutenant"

"Ah Kelly"

"Ok"

I see this guy walk in. He's young. My age maybe.

I say nod my head to say hey.

We talk. He is actually the other lieutenant.

END OF FLASHBACKS.

"Yeah. And now we're holding our kids" Casey says.

"It's crazy how things happen" I say.

"Yeah..you know for the longest time before we became good friends at 51 I referred to you as 'lutenint no shirt'" he laughs.

"Oh wow matt,well it's ok I called you 'the lutenint with a stick up his ass',for the longest"

Casey cracks up "for real?"

"Yeah. Just the way you looked when you walked around. Or trained new candidates"

"Oh well the almighty sqaud lutentint trains his men tough too.including Dawson"

"Speaking of. I would be willing to pull some strings to get her on sqaud..you know so you guys can get married. Because I'll be her lutenint,not you"

"You would do that for us?"

"Of course. But trust me I would have never offered if I didn't think she could do the job. But I think She'd make a badass sqaud chick"

The babies fall asleep in our arms and we set them down to nap.
