Chapter 18

-CARLA'S POV-

Remember that? I asked Jay. 

He smiled when he saw the tree with our names carved on it. 

Of course I remember ! How can I not?! He chirped.

I smiled and hugged him. He was bit caught off guard but hugged me back after a few moments... it's great to have you back... 

He chuckled and kissed my temple. It's great to be back! He said while brushing a strand of hair behind my ear. 

I smiled and pecked his cheek... want to eat? I asked. 

He nodded. 

Oh my gosh...this is amazing! I exclaimed. 

Jay just chuckled and shoved another piece of pizza in his mouth.

What flavor chips should we get? I asked. 

BBQ. DUUUUH. He replied. 

I smiled knowing that he remembers.

Hey remember that time you slipped and scraped your palms? He asked. 

I giggled at that flashback.. yup ! 

He smiled and fed me a piece of chip, we were sitting under the tree, talking about our childhood memories. 

OH.. and that one time you tried to push me on the swing but pushed me off instead! He exclaimed. 

I bursted out laughing remembering how funny he looked when he got up because there was dirt on his face. 

A few hours later the sun started setting and it was starting to get a bit cold. I was so stupid to wear capris and a t-shirt knowing it was going to be cold. 

Hey Jay.. let's go.. it's getting dark. I told him .

He nodded and we headed home. 

Are you cold? He asked after a few minutes. 

I shrugged.. not really.. - actually.. i'm freezing but I just don't want him to worry- then... I felt something draped over my shoulder, I turned and saw that Jay has taken off his coat. 

Jay.. you don't have to.. 

He chuckled.. I don't want my best friend to catch a cold!

Thanks Jay! I replied.

Haha. babe.. too late.. it's alright.. I'm actually at the store right now.. i'll pick some up and we can watch a movie.. which one? ;)xx.
