I nod my head and stand up, stretching my limbs before walking into my room to put my dress on. There was a knock on the door and I open it, seeing Jimin standing outside the door.

“Hey, come on in, I’m almost done.” I say, stepping to the side.

“How on Earth did we get to kidnap such a pretty person?” He asks, his jaw dropping at the sight of me in the dress.

I blush lightly at his words and begin to do my makeup, doing just like Jungkook’s grandma did.

“I have to tell you something, but you have to promise not to tell anyone else.” I say.

“I promise.” He says immediately.

“During the storm, Hoseok and I, uh, we kissed.” I say.

“Really? Okay, good for you guys.” He smiles.

“You can’t make fun of him, I told him I wouldn’t tell anybody.” I chuckle nervously.

“I won’t.” He says.

We walked out into the living room once I was finished with my makeup to see no sign of Hoseok. I saw Namjoon instead, wearing a tux and i suddenly got very confused.

“Why are you all dressed up? I thought I was going with Hoseok?” I ask.

“Oh, you are, you’re the distraction for us. All of us are going.” He says.

I hear footsteps behind me and I turn around to see a very handsome looking Hoseok walking toward me.

“Time to get into character.” He says as he puts an arm around my waist.

I giggled, which made him laugh, the laugh turning into a smile as he looked down at me.

We start walking toward the door when Jimin stops us.

“Picture time.” He wiggles his eyebrows.

I glare at him while he smiles at us, knowing fully well what I told him. Hoseok and I pose for pictures and I found myself very comfortable in his grasp. Once Jimin was finished, Hoseok and I go outside and get into one of the fancier cars, seeing that the damage from the tornado wasn’t as bad as we thought it was. When Hoseok got into the driver’s seat, he was sitting very close to me and I was tempted to kiss him, but I held back my urge and looked at the trees as we passed by them. The 10 minute car ride to the gala was quiet and was almost awkward until Hoseok intertwined his fingers with mine as we approached the house. He put the car in park and leaned over to catch my lips in a sweet kiss, catching me off guard. We pulled away and I chuckled, seeing a bit of red lipstick on his lips. I went through my purse and produced a makeup wipe, wiping the lipstick off of him.

“Thanks.” He smiles as he gets out of the car.

He opens my door for me and we hurry inside as it was starting to rain.

“I don’t know if I’ve told you this or not, but you look absolutely amazing.” Hoseok smiles at me.

I blush and punch his shoulder playfully, linking our arms together as we walk to the front door.

“I need your invitations.” A guard says, holding out his hand.

I rummage through my purse and pull out two invitations, handing them to the guard who looks at them before letting us through. I gasp at the decor, seeing the crystal chandeliers and marble flooring. There were people in tuxedos and dresses milling about with wine glasses in their hands. I saw a familiar face and suck in a breath, holding Hoseok tightly.

“Don’t look now, but I think my teacher is standing over there.” I say in his ear.

He ignored me and looked anyway, seeing the man in question giving me a disgusted look. My math teacher glared at us and started walking over. In a panic, I turn Hoseok toward me and I kiss him, making Mr. Choi clear his throat and walk away. I pull away to see a red faced Hoseok looking at me with a shocked expression.

“Oh, don’t look at me like that, we have to act like a couple, this is what couples do, right?” I raise an eyebrow.

“Uh, yeah.” I nods.

I look over to see a dance floor that was practically screaming to be danced on. I smile and drag Hoseok over to it, letting him lead a waltz. I didn’t know how good he actually was at dancing and I was surprised that I didn’t step on his shoes. The song ended and we were both slightly sweating as we made our way to the beverage table. I spot Mr. Choi close to where we were and he was looking right back at us.

“Hello, Ms.Choe, is there a reason I haven’t seen you in my class lately?” He asks.

I take a sip of my mango flavored drink before snarling a response.

“Well-” I start.

“She was with me.” Hoseok says.

“And you are?” He scoffs.

“Her boyfriend.” He says.

“And why was she with you instead of at school?” Mr. Choi asks.

“He lives in another part of Korea and I wanted to see him. May I ask you what you’re doing here instead of grading papers? Please focus on your own life before you criticize mine.” I snarl in response.

I felt my blood start to boil and I pulled Hoseok away from the man, walking toward the back of the party where no one could see us.

“You okay?” He asks.

“No, he just makes me so mad, I hate him so much.” I say.

“Okay, calm down, you’re gonna be fine.” He puts his hands on my shoulders.

I huff and look at him, making the bold choice of kissing him to get rid of my anger.
