Everybody I'm back yayayay

I walked into the daycare center and I heard little footsteps running toward me.

“Mommy! You’re back!” I hear two small voice call out to me.

“Of course! I’ll always come back.” I smile down at them.

I sign them out and walk out of the building with my twins.

“So, Yinnie, Linnie, how was your day at daycare?” I ask.

“Mommy, it was so boring, everyone kept getting us mixed up.” They both said.

I laugh and looked at their matching curly brown hair in the rearview mirror before starting the car and heading home.

“Mommy! Play fire!” Linnie yells from her spot in the backseat.

I chuckle and nod, playing Fire by BTS from my bluetooth. We jammed out to it all the way home and I turned it off once we pulled up into the driveway. I unbuckled the two girls and walked inside to see my husband standing in the kitchen.

“Daddy, daddy! We’re home! We missed you!” The girls scream as they run up to him.

He picked both of them up and kisses them, hugging them tightly before letting them go.

“Hey, Hobi. Yinnie asked me today where Uncle Tae was.” I say quietly as I peck his lips.

Yinnie had a special bond with Tae and he was her favorite, so of course she would be asking us about him.

“Babe, you know we can’t tell her. It’ll break her little heart.” Hoseok sighs.

“I know, but if we don’t tell her, then she’ll always be wondering about him.” I say.

Hoseok nods in agreement and smiles sadly down at Yinnie.

“Yinnie, sweetheart, I heard you were asking about uncle Tae?” He asks softly.

“Yes! Where is he? I miss him.” She starts to pout.

“Well, sweetie, Uncle Tae, he...he died a few weeks ago.” Hoseok says.

I felt pain in the back of my neck as my kids started to cry. It was so hard to see them cry and not get emotional yourself. I fell down to my knees and pulled them close to me, letting my tears fall on their heads as they held me. Hoseok completed the circle and we cried together.

END OF DREAM EDITED

I gasped as I woke up, feeling tears running down my cheeks.

“Hey, it’s okay. You’re okay.” Hoseok says as he caresses my hair.

I take a deep breath and decide to believe him.

“What happened?” He asks.

“Bad dream.” I croak.

I couldn’t bring myself to tell him that I was having dreams about him, that would be weird.

Peace and love Savannah.
