The fifth day.

The dead have gone fairly quickly, but that was to be expected. After all, these tributes have been handpicked by their own districts. Strong killers or now-dead weaklings.

The day continues, and not much happens. Not every day can be the Hunger Games hotspot, but this gives the viewers plenty of time to place bets and get the excitement going.

The next evening, there's an announcement after the empty death count.

A feast. Food in the arena has never been particularly high, with a diet of small fish, tiny plants and shrubs, and the fruit from the hedges, of course. If you can get to them.

But there's a feast planned for the morning of the seventh day, and you and your allies (if you have them) must decide what to do.

-

1. Due the 11th. This will require some work for those in alliances, but if you're working alone I suggest you turn it in early and get it out of the way.

2. Don't actually write about the feast. Use the fifth and sixth days to get in some character development, maybe, or just kind of skim over them. It should end with making plans for the feast or putting them into action (like Foxface hiding in the Cornucopia the night before).

3. At this point, all of you are pretty far in. If you're eliminated at this point, you're welcome to polish it up, write either a death scene or a victory, and totally change it so it wouldn't look like part of a competition. All of you are welcome to do this, even those who make it to the end.

4. You will be graded, as this contest will be coming to an end soon. Out of five, based on flow, voice, conventions (grammar and spelling), portrayal of actions and reactions, and overall enjoyment to read (not being boring).

5. One person with the lowest score WILL be eliminated to provide a kill for the feast. Again, if it's you, you're welcome to keep writing as said in 3.
