The fires go out rows at a time, just like they came on. It sweeps the arena, but the sky is already light.
As the sun rises, water begins to seep out of the crevices and pool onto the ground. The water levels rise as the sun does.
Either your lookout wakes you up, or you're awoken by the water reaching you. Quick! Do you have rock climbing equipment, or will you have to try and float up? A raft might be useful.
Once the water is all the way up, you wait a minute before continuing on. The water seems to have stopped.
If you're near the edge of the arena, you'll be able to see a hedge-looking thing that is actually thick grapevines with plump fruit if you get close enough.
The two alliances avoid each other for today. Near midday, a small swarm of about twenty tracker jackers materialize upon each alliance, but there are no fatalities.
The plant that helps the stings does grow here, but only in the bottom of the water. One of your allies (two people total) is badly stung and feverish. Will you risk the dive?
The anthem plays, and the water begins to drain again. There were no deaths today. The fires light again. The audience seems satisfied, but as the night drifts on you know that they won't be for long...

1. You have two weeks for this challenge. That gives you until Saturday, August 9th.
2. To provide kills for the next challenge, one or two people will be eliminated. You are welcome to continue writing, though, if you'd like to write out the death scene. I highly suggest getting someone to edit your chapters, and go over them a couple times. This may improve your chances of staying alive.
3. If you haven't noticed, the two alliances will collide somehow in the next challenge. Prepare yourselves.
