Time Frame: Before Time.
The Capital City, the Realm of the Clouds, whatever you’d like to call it, is where I was stuck sitting for hours and hours on end. I lived here, in a realm that looked like what you’d probably call heaven. On white fluffy clouds sat an almost frosted glass castle; however you couldn’t see within the castle. The main color scheme of this realm is white. White is pure, white is flawless, and honestly white is tragically boring. This is the realm where the main gods, demons, angels and I meet. Usually once a week however this week seemed to be full of meetings. The city is used for the different races that control the universe come together and converse about further plans of what is to come with our existence, we have only been creating things for a few decades and nothing has really immersed yet. It’s all a dreadfully slow process.
Now, allow me to introduce myself. I am Fate Force, and subsequently I decided I wanted to be a guy. I am a force so I can do that. I can take any form that I like; angel, god, or even demon. Now the angels, gods, and demons have their own realms. I however for some reason or another, don’t. So I live here in the Capital City, and it is becoming more dreadful as time goes on. I have been living in this realm for far too long. I wanted to leave, but the gods don’t think it’s safe for me in the demon world, and the angels don’t want me messing with theirs. I wanted my own world. But I’m technically not allowed to do anything even though I am the real one in charge. The god’s say that everything they are doing is because of my “safety” whatever that means. My mind buzzed with the thoughts of my own world, as I was sitting in the white waiting room poking myself with a fork.
I should just leave and create something myself, without their approval. I smirked at the thought, continuing to stab the fork against my index finger; the fork was beginning to bend inwards, crushing against my skin. I yawned, still thinking of leaving, as I moved my eyes to the clock. The meeting wasn’t for another five hours and I had nothing to do until then. I crushed the fork and began to convince myself that leaving would be for the greater good. I should just make my own world, without the permission of the other races, like I said I am the real one in charge. It is fun to break the rules, and even if I asked their permission it’s not like they could tell me know, because I am the real one in charge. I can do what I want. I had convinced myself.
I stood and began walking towards the door before I was stopped by Alana. Oh god, Alana. How do I even begin to describe how much she gets on my nerves? Alana was the goddess of love, and always tried to set me up on blind dates, and I agreed to one. It was terrible. But that wasn’t the only obnoxious thing about Alana, she always wore pink. Now I really don’t mind the color, but Alana over did it a good 99.9% of the time. She was always wearing some form of gaudy pink gown and random extravagant hot pink hairstyles.
“Fate, where are you off to?” she asked half way clobbering me to death as she danced around me, blocking me from the door.
“I’m taking a slight vacation.” I remarked, she pouted folding her arms.
“The gods aren’t gonna like this ya-know, you can’t just skip outta here whenever you feel like!” She shouted while I pushed past her.
“The god’s will live.” I said not caring enough to say turn to look at her.
“Where are you going anyways?” She asked running after me, once again stopping me.
"I’m going to make my own world,” I said spilling the beans.
"But. Fate. That’s against the rules!” She gasped, I sighed, slightly expecting this reaction from her. I moved past her again continuing along as she babbled at me attempting to scare me with what my punishment would be when the gods caught me.
This continued until I reached the borderline of the city. I stood there for a moment, taking in the vast emptiness before me. I breathed in deeply allowing my angel wings to unfold from my back. I tilted my head to each side cracking my neck before closing my eyes and falling backwards into the universe. I felt myself falling faster and faster, I was looking for a place that didn't have actual life beginning yet. Only the life of plants. I felt myself being pulled into an atmosphere, my immortal heart racing the silver blood within pulsing through my veins. I opened my wings beginning to pull the gravity away from me slowing me down. I opened my eyes, seeing the most beautiful scene. Everything was green full of healthy life. I found myself gliding over an enormous blue ocean; untouched, and beautiful with the sky above it just as blue, just as pure, with puffy white cotton clouds.
After a few circles around this planet. I landed in a clearing, almost instantly as my foot touched the ground I heard a sweet bell like laugh glide on the winds. Laughter? How is that possible? At first I had thought Alana had followed me here. But I ruled that out instantly. Her laugh was more obnoxious, this laugh was soft. I heard the laugh again, this time closer to me. I turned to face the sound, standing there before me was a young girl. Appearing around seven or so. Her skin milky white, she was wearing a fluffy blue dress that flowed romantically in the breeze. She had wavy blonde hair and striking almost glowing blue eyes with no other traces of color. She had an immortal glow to her, a warmth resonating off her. I blinked staring down at her, she giggled again and stared back at me a small smile growing on her face.
“You must be Fate,” Her voice rung.
“Uhh, yes,” I replied, “How did you-?”
“I watched you fall from the clouds,” She sighed and began walking towards the ocean.
“Wait!”
“Yes?”
“Who, I mean, what are you exactly?”
“You’ll know who I am eventually, but for now, I must be going.”
“Where are you going?”
“I have to find time.”
“Time? Time for what?”
“Goodbye Fate, I do hope we meet again.” She giggled before disappearing. I stood there watching the place she had just been for a few moments before taking flight again to observe more of the sheer beauty of this world that I found myself in. It was unlike anything that I have ever witnessed in the clouds. The clouds have a set color scheme, usually white. Except the races that live upon the clouds. They can range from a variety of different colors. Personally I like sticking with my sleek blue black hair. As I continued to fly, that young girl still came to mind. Who was she? How did she even get here if there wasn’t entirely legitimate life on this planet? This world I was in was an untouched version of Earth. Practically the same planet if you ask me. However I wanted something different for this world. Something unreal. Something unusual. Something that would give the God’s, the angels, and the demons, something to do.
