"Everyone turn your locators on. If you see anything..."

"I'll say Marco." Liz said over her radio.

"Liz is Nyx with you?"

"Nope. I'm all alone in one of the sections." I said before Liz could answer.

"Damnit. Just sit tight. I'll make my way to you."

"I don't think so." I said looking around. Suddenly a wall behind me moved.

The same rumbling sound could be heard through the dividers. My senses were on high alert as I walked through the door and down a tunnel. The place was dead silent. My footsteps were the only thing echoing off the walls. I followed the stone tunnel until I came to a huge room.

The room had tons of statues that looked over a hundred years old. Across the room was another statue holding a gold key and a few feet in front of that was a large stone with strange writings and 2 holes. I walked slowly into the room and went over to the slab of stone. I ran my hand over it. It was smooth to the touch and looked like marble.

I turned around to radio HB and the others on what I had found when a sharp pain went through my skull and I fell to the ground. My eyes shifted up to see a bald man dressed in a black robe with golden trimming. Next to him was a blonde woman with a mallet in her hands. The bald man lowered himself to my level.

"You're more beautiful than your true form my child." I began to get dizzy as he placed his hand on my forehead, "Become your true form and relish in the great destruction of our time. Arise and obey." The mystery man spoke. I shook my head trying to fight whatever powers he possessed but my world turned to black.

"Come on. Ask your buddy how far this thing goes." Tom said as we looked around the huge room we were in.

"How you doing up there, lvan?"

"If I had legs I'd kick your ass!" Ivan said in Russian.

"Would you mind holding this guy for a while? He is so negative." I handed over the half corpse to Agent Limes. A deep rumble echoed through the expanse along with the spund of fluttering bird wings.

"What the hell is that"

"Something big. Lime, come with me." I ordered as i headed across the stone bridge.

"Right."

"No, no, no. Stay put! Stop!" I stopped in my tracks and turned around nonchalantly, "You listen to me. Listen to me! I'm in charge. We're gonna go back. You can take that door apart." Tom said sternly.

"Whatever it is, it's coming for us. Now, we gotta move forward! Lime, let's go!"

"Stay put! And you! I am not afraid of you! I'm in charge! We go back!" Suddenly something smashed into the bridge behind us knocking Ivan and Agent Lines right off.

I looked across the bridge as the opening on the other side began to close. I grabbed Tom and threw him towards the door. He slid on his back across the ground until he was safely on the other side of the closing door.

"Oh, crap." I said as my eyes caught the sight of the giant hammer coming right towards me. I jumped out of the way and quickly got to my feet as it knocked down more of the bridge. I ran as fast as I could stepping on the crumbling stones as the hammer kept swinging. I slid across the ground nice I was close enough to the door. I made it within inches. I stood to my feet as the sound of German opera music flooded my ears.

"Music?" I held my finger to my lips telling Tom to be quiet. There was another corridor. The walls were line with sharp spikes. I took out my gun and led the way into the tunnel. At the other end I could see the bastard who had killed my father.

"Ow." I looked behind me as Tom brushed up against one of the spikes. When I looked back, the man was gone.

We entered the brightly lit room and I went to the phonograph turning off the music. Next to it was a deal filled with different papers all in German. Some were very old with Nazi emblems on them.

"Hey. Really went deep." I turned and walked away looking at the gears that littered the place, "Hey, what's wrong with you?!" Tom shouted making me turn to see him laying on the floor holding his arm up in protection.

The man who killed my father raised him long knives. I rushed over quickly and put my stone hand in front of the blade keeping it from hitting Tom. Over and over again the man slashed at me but I blocked his efforts with my stone hand. I grabbed his knives as they criss crossed over his chest before punching him in the face with my large hand.

"You killed my father.
Your ass is mine." I said with a growl. I punched the metal covered face sending him flying backwards and into a shelf of gears. The man immediately began to laugh.

"What are you laughing at,
you Nazi son of a...?" Suddenly the floor under me gave away. I grabbed onto a dangling rope as large metal spikes shot up out of the bottom of the pit.

The man twirled his knives in his hand. I rolled the bottom of the rope in my hand ready for when he cut the rope. I wasn't gonna go down alone. I stared right at the Nazi fucker as a head clinked off his bent head. He looked away from me letting me regroup.

"Don't even think about it." Tom warned the man. I threw the rope up making a loop around his neck and pulling him down to his knees.

His knife stuck in the wood and I grabbed him. I pulled his body off and down into the pit as I climbed out. I went over to where a large gearwheel was propped against a shelf and lifted it over my head. I looked down into the pit before throwing it down on top of the man.

"That's all for you, pinhead." I said before I pulled a cigar from my pocket and began to light it but my lighter wouldn't work.

"What are you doing?"

"Having a..." I started to say but Tom cut my off grabbing my Zippo lighter from my hands.

"You never light a cigar that way. You use a wooden match. Preserves the flavor. You see?" I took a few puffs letting the cigar light. Tom was right. The flavor was much better.

"Thank you." I said nodding.

"Thank you."
