if i'm seeing this right, christiane martel is blushing.
"are you blushing, martel?" i asked as my face inched closer to his, making sure that i was really seeing his face tinge pink.
instead of backing away, martel did the unexpected. martel also inched his face forward.
"so what if i am, princess?" it immediately sent me backing away.

"sa'n ka papunta, princess?" at naalala ko, wala nga pala ako sa amin.
"sa lugar na wala ka," walang kabuhay-buhay kong sagot.
"dito ka nalang sa puso ko, princess"
ugh. banat nang banat. nakakaumay na.
"ewan ko sa'yo" at iniwan ko na nga siya sa kusina at dumiretso sa sala nila.
