Forever and Ever (Niall)

…I watched his blue eyes as the glint in them caught my attention, as they always did. They were dripping with adoration and I blushed at the thought that it was directed toward me.

His blond hair shifted slightly as we stood in the dimly lit park that night he slowly began to descend on one knee, reaching deep into his inner coat pocket. As he pulled the tiny velvet box open my heart beat increased at a rapid speed anticipating what was to come next…

I slowly shifted as I heard someone quietly clear there throat behind me. I turned to see my husband Niall leaning against the door frame.

“Again Carolina?” he asked. Knowing that our 2 little girls always requested for me to tell them the story of how he had purposed to me. Although I knew they always fell asleep after the first few words I could never stop myself from finishing it, reliving and replaying the past event in my own head. It brought a smile to my face and I would never forget that night for the rest of my life.

I nodded and smiled in his direction “Again” I whispered as I made my way toward him.

His smile grew bigger as he watched me approach him, a pure loving look spread across his face. Once I got to the door I turned around and watched our 2 daughters sleep peacefully.

I felt Niall wrap his arms around my waist from behind, his head dipping lower to my ear as his breath sent shivers down my spine.

“Beautiful” I commented. Both our little girls had taken complete opposite sides in their looks. One had the dark blonde hair, milky skin and the silver blue eyes that belonged to my husband, whilst the other had mirrored my features getting my tanned colored skin, my deep brown eyes and dark hair.

I relished in the feel of his cheek rubbing against mine as he nodded agreeing with my statement. He tilted his head down and let his lips brush against my cheek and move back to my ear. A slight moment past as I just listened to his breathing soothingly in my ear, until he spoke.

“I think you’re beautiful” His voice was spoken in a low tone, as he trailed lips down my neck settling on my shoulder, giving me a light peck. I smiled to myself as my cheeks became a darker shade of pink.

Slowly I shut the door of the girls’ bedroom and spun around in his arms, gazing into his eyes in appreciation.

I leant up on my toes as I brought my face closer to his, my hands settling on his shoulders, making our noses touch lightly. His smile was so warming and made my heart flutter every time he displayed it.

I gently shut my eyes as I felt his lips press themselves tenderly on mine. My hands traveled from his shoulders and slid down, I gently rested my palms against his chest.

His hands moved from my waist and slowly made their way up to settle them both on each side of my face deepening the kiss.

The kiss was at a deathly slow pace but neither of us bothering to speed it up making sure to enjoy every bit of it.

As we slowly pulled away from each other he settled his forehead against mine, are breaths tangling at our close proximity.

I watched him close his eyes as a grin pulled at the corners of his lips; he licked them slowly and reopened his eyes. I smiled lovingly at him and spoke the three words that I meant more than anything.

“I love you”

He gently nudged his nose against mine.

“I love you too Carolina”

Warmth spread within me, and I followed with the question I always asked.

“Forever?”

He nodded slowly; our foreheads still leant against one another.

“And ever”

Leaning down, he kissed me gently one last time sealing his statement once and for all.
