Emilys POV

Today is my first official day on tour and i'm super excited. I woke up before Shawn and decided to take a shower. Afterwards i did my make up and got changed into mom jeans with a cute crop top. I checked the time and it was 9:00 and we needed to be at the arena at 10:30 because shawn had sound check.
"Shawn, wake up," I whispered trying my best to wake him up. "Shawn come on, you have sound check get up!" When i was about to give up two strong army rapped around my waist and pushed me onto the bed. But before I could complain that we were going to be late , i realised that shawn was on top of me . He said in a playful tone "morning" I couldn't help but stare at his soft plump lips and imagine what they would feel like pressed against mine. "You have sound check in an hour, you have to get up," i say even though i secretly didn't  want this moment to ever end. But shawn doesn't move an inch. We kept on getting closer to each other. Shawn's lips were a centimetre away from mine, we were both staring into each others eyes. Shawn was about to break the small space between us. When suddenly his phone started to ring. "Umm it's Andrew I have to take this," he says as he walks out fo the room, rubbing the back of his neck. Wow that quickly became awkward. Its hard to think that if Andrew hadn't called me and shawn would be kissing. But is that what I want? Does shawn even like me in that way. I didn't have too much time to overthink the events. As i came to pick up my small purse from the couch shawn walks out of the bathroom. He has now changed and is wearing a black hoodie and his classic black jeans, his hair is still in a bit off a mess, however still manages to looks good. As we're leaving the hotel room shawn does something unexpected, he laces our hand together. I look up to him and see him looking ahead, this was all so natural to him. Maybe he did actually have feelings for me?

Shaw's currently at soundcheck. I was scrolling through instagram looking at potential new videos ideas. And Brian,Josiah and Alessia were playing card games.
"Emily you wanna play this round," Alessia asks me nicely. "I'd love too."
"Here you can sit next to me" Brian says as he moves up a bit. As Josiah explains the rules . I draped my legs over Brians legs. We played a few rounds of cards and it was really fun. I got to know Alessia and Josiah better and they are both really fun to be around. We were laughing at one of Brian's jokes when Shawn walked in. We made eye contact and I smiled at him but he just looked the other way. Is he okay? Before i could ask him if he was alright Andrew said "there are a few hours left until the concert so we're all gonna go out to eat."
Throughout the whole journey to the restaurant shawn didn't say a word to me. I put my hand on his thigh and said "you okay?" . All he did to respond to my question was nod 'no' and shake my hand off. So during the 40 minutes we were in the car I spent the whole time just talking to Brian about different things.As soon as the car comes to a stop shawn opened the door and stormed out. "Someone's in a bad mood," Andrew joked. After we all get out of the car I see shawn standing outside of the restaurant, and decide that i should speak to him.

Shawn's POV

I had a great sound check i just couldn't get rod of the thought that i nearly kissed Emily this morning. I really like her and i hope that she likes me too.
When i got back stage i saw Em and Brian sitting really close together and her legs were draped over his. I couldn't help getting mad that they were so close. Was I jealous? I mean I know i have a tiny crush on Em but I couldn't be that jealous.
On the way to the restaurant, Brian just kept flirting with her and Emily just went along with it . After what happened this morning i thought Emily might like me but i guess i was wrong and she was just acting in the moment, but I couldn't hide the fact that i was upset.

As soon as the car comes to a stop i had to get out of it . I couldn't be around Brian and Emily anymore.
But something that I didn't expect happened, Emily came up to me outside of the restaurant. "Hey, you sure you're okay?" She moved a small piece of hair out of her face. I loved when she did that. "Umm yeah it's nothing." I say trying to get her to go back inside. "Oh come on it's obvious somethings wrong. Just talk to me." I didn't want to tell her that I'm jealous, i was afraid that she would laugh or something. "Shouldn't you get back inside. I'm sure Brian's waiting for you" she let out a laugh, moving another piece of hair that had fallen on to her face. "Me and Brian are not a thing. He's like an older brother to me. So we would never work out as a couple. Plus i kinda like someone else". I couldn't help but let out a breathe after what she just told me. She brought her thumb and brushed it against my cheek. "And trust me mendes, you do not need to he jealous of Brian" And she began to lead me inside of the restaurant.
