DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN HARRY POTTER OR PERCY JACKSON. THEIR RIGHTFUL OWNERS ARE J.K ROWLING (HARRY POTTER) AND RICK RIORDAN (PERCY JACKSON)

Tomorrow at breakfast, both me and Harry were thinking about the mirror.

I know that too much of a good thing is always bad. It can be addictive. Don't ask me how, but I guess I learned from the myths from that book from the library.

I brought the book with me and read it at breakfast.

"Jackson," Snape hovered above me when I was in the demigod myths, "is that from the Restricted section?"

I played with him saying, "I don't think so, here is it from there?"

Of course, the entire book is Greek or probably Ancient Greek. And if he attempted to understand it and fail, he'll embarrass himself in front of the Gryffindors, who he wants to fear him most.

I'm not dumb.

I saw Harry giving me a worried glace. We both know it was from the Restricted section.

He skimmed the book.

"Is this a Care of Magical Creatures book?" he asked me opening the page about the myths of Pegasus.

I nodded slowly.

"Why is it in another language?"

"It's in my mother tongue," I lied.

He looked at the diagrams, they were about various things, but all were Greek.

He shut the book saying, "Good luck Jackson, either way you'll fail the quiz." He smiled to himself, which was bizarre to see, and stalked to the teacher's table.

Hermione asked, "May I?"

I gave her the book.

"I've never seen this... Where did you get this?" she asked me.

"I saw Greek and got interested so I took it," I lied.

"The diagrams are interesting... such a shame I can't understand this language. I'll take it later on," she handed the book back eagerly.

I smiled back and continued reading.

At night, Harry and Ron snuck away. Probably back to the mirror, but I had other plans.

There was a new moon festival at that time, and a unicorn is also giving birth. They've invited me, I tried reasoning with them about werewolves. They insisted.

I could hear professors supervising the halls. I looked out the window, maybe...

No, it's dumb and risky.

But I'm no Hermione.

I opened the window in the dormitories,

And jumped off.

I fell at an alarming speed. The lake was near, it was rippling furiously. As if worried.

I concentrated hard, and imagined the water carrying me to the forest.

The water from the lake flew to me. It formed some kind of disk below me. More concentration, and I froze the disk. A simple 'Wingardium Leviosa' and I made my own hoverboard.

Combining magic and water powers was tricky, but I got the board to work. I zoomed above the lake for a test, I heard whoops and cheers above me.

I looked up and found the boys I my dormitory watching from the window. They'd been holding their breath, seeing if I'd make it. I waved back and zoomed to the Forbidden Forest.
