DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN HARRY POTTER OR PERCY JACKSON. THEIR RIGHTFUL OWNERS ARE J.K ROWLING (HARRY POTTER) AND RICK RIORDAN (PERCY JACKSON)
I worried about Harry.
Sure, we're fighting, but he's my God brother after all.
And siblings do fight, right?
I walked to the Hospital wing. Professor Flitwick sent me when I arrived to class with a swollen black eye.
"Mr. Jackson, how are you getting these injuries?" Madam Promfrey asked me as she dabbed medicine on my black eye.
I shrugged, not knowing how to answer it.
It was peace and quiet until Hermione broke down the door dragging an injured Ron.
I immediately stood and helped her with Ron. Together, we put him in one of the cots.
Madam Promfrey immediately went to work and Hermione spilled all the events and how we should get Dumbledore.
"Relax, let's go to the owlery and send help," I told her.
"Percy why don't you go? You're the demigod and the one with most experience."
I shook my head, "I'm more of a physical guy, I'm not great with spells. Besides, if it's a magic duel then I'm the last person to ask."
Hermione nodded and walked to the exit with her usual bossiness and said, "Let's go to the owlery."
We ran all the way there. Hermione made sure to stop every now and then to catch her breath.
"I swear you're more athletic than you let on," She said panting.
"I did get practice from running for my life," I replied.
We opened the door to the tower, and all the owls glared at me.
Hermione noticed, "Right. The rivalry."
"If I go in there, then I get an early birthday present," I told her, "a lifetime supply of owl poop and pecking."
Basically, I avoided this place at all costs.
I sat outside while Hermione wrote a letter to Dumbledore and sent Hedwig.
She came out looking confident, but the worry still stayed.
"I hope Hedwig will reach him on time," she muttered.
It didn't take more than four hours and Dumbledore appeared in the Gryffindor common room.
"Where is Miss Granger?" he asked loudly, still managing to sound calm.
Hermione ran down the staircase leading to the girls' rooms and said with relief, "Here professor Dumbledore!"
"Miss Granger dear, please show me where Harry is."
We found Harry unconscious in front of the mirror. He had the stone clutched in his hand and was full of injuries.
We took him to the Hospital wing and he woke up the next morning.
Me, Hermione and Ron waited outside of the wing, while Dumbledore talked to him.
When Dumbledore walked out, Hermione and Ron scrambled inside.
"Mr. Jackson come to my office after you see Harry."
I nodded to Dumbledore and ran inside.
Harry actually scowled when he saw me. Hermione nearly slapped him when she saw that. A pile of presents and cards stood in front of his bed.
"Hey Harry," I said.
He looked the other way.
"I know you're still mad, and if it helps. I decided to tell you, even Ron," I said.
He glanced at me, "Are you serious?"
I nodded, "I'm pretty sure after you learn the truth, you'd never want me on your bad side."
"Well begin then," Ron said.
"You might want a seat," I said.
I told them about my status being a demigod, and the monsters I faced between classes. How I usually skipped breakfast and dinner to practice. Why I stayed alone. I told them how Hermione found out. And to wrap it all, I told them that I had to leave to a summer camp when the year finishes.
"You're a demigod," Ron said after I finished.
"The son of the sea god," Harry said.
They both glanced at Hermione to see if they're right.
Instead she asked, "And you're alive?"
"That's still a question I didn't get its answer," I replied.
"Can I see your sword?" Ron asked.
I uncapped riptide and handed it to him.
Ron stared at it in awe. He said when he gave it to me, "Sorry Harry, but he might have it harder than you."
Harry laughed weakly.
"Visiting hours are over," Madam Promfrey said. She kicked us out and I remembered about Dumbledore.
"Professor?" I peeked my head in Dumbledore's office.
I lost count of how many times I'd been here.
"Yes, Percy come in."
I sat down and braced myself.
"What I am going to tell you is a decision made by me and your father. The wizarding world cannot handle a second war while we fight Voldemort. Your father thinks that war at this time won't turn out well for demigods. So, we decided to transport your family and the events circling around of you were born to the next century. Your mother, Sally Jackson might lose her ability in magic during the process. Which might benefit you in your own war. I am telling you this now, because you won't fly to America for a camp. If your mother loses her magic and becomes a muggle after the transport, then you won't be a wizard. Your mother won't remember the wizarding world, and you won't as well. I'm sorry Percy."
"Will Harry remember? Will we be God brothers?" I asked.
"I'm afraid that no one will know you exist. And you two being God brothers, that won't happen."
He's right. If the prophecy in the book was about me. Then a war while Voldemort is around will make it worse.
I can't be a demigod and a wizard at the same time.
"When is it going to happen?" I asked.
"After the House Cup ceremony."
After the ceremony... I don't think I will be able to celebrate.
"Can it be now?" I said.
Dumbledore stood, "I will need your father. Send a silent prayer."
Dad? I thought. I want the transport to happen now.
A wave of ocean breeze hit the office and my dad appeared with a sad smile.
"This will be hard, Albus," he said.
"I'll manage," the old wizard said.
He held out a necklace, it had an hourglass and some spinning circles.
"A time-turner," I said. Hermione told me about them.
"Yes. This process requires a working time turner."
"Are you ready Percy?" Dad asked.
I nodded.
My dad glowed and Dumbledore spun the time turner.
"Look, I didn't want to be a half-blood."
