Hey, I'm Rowley.
Everyone knows me as Greg's friend. I'm currently 29. I live in New York City with my wife Cheryl and my daughter Christina who is 5. I'm a children's author and illustrator and I love my job. I'm basically living my dream, I have the most caring wife I could ever ask for and the sweetest little girl. I have to say, I've felt so much happier since I left Plainview and my old 'friend', Greg.It was in my last few years of college when I started to realise our friendship was one sided. Greg didn't care about me. He only wanted me there to do all his work and use me to get into the country club. We eventually lost touch and I made new friends who I'm still in contact with today.
But lately Greg has been trying to make contact again. I didn't want to be rude and not reply so I messaged him back. We continued talking for a couple of days and he revealed to me that his girlfriend Natalie had kicked him out and kept their son Joel with her. He was in a really bad place, he had no where to go and no money as he had also been fired. I couldn't help but feel bad for the guy so I invited him to stay with me for a while. I talked to Cheryl about it and she was so upset.
"Rowley. Why would you do that? You know how bad he's treated you and your just inviting him to stay with us!"
"I know it's-"
"Rowley I don't want him to walk all over you again just like before!"
"I understand but I can't just leave him now. He'll only be here a week maybe."
Cheryl looked so worried. I held her hand.
"I promise it will be ok" I said to her.
"Ok. But if he acts up he is out of here." She sighed.
