Rowley's Breaking Point

Hey Rodrick

So a couple of days past since the incident at work and it hasn't been so cheerful like it was at the start. But Greg and I are getting on alright. Anyway we decided to go on a little family trip to the funfair and Greg is coming too.

So we got to the funfair and you'll never guess who we bumped into. It was Rodrick. He was with his wife (or girlfriend) and he also had two little boys with him as well. I never thought Rodrick would settle down but I was happy for him. I remember when I was young I was so scared of him but he's turned out to be a genuine, kind person.

Greg looked very uncomfortable to see Rodrick. I asked if he was ok and he said he was fine. I told Greg I was gonna say hi to Rodrick and he began to look more panicked.
"Hey Rodrick!" I said
"Rowley? Hey how are you?" I must say, Rodrick is definitely more polite. Rodrick then introduced me to his wife Nina and his kids Charlie and Michael. It was then that Rodrick noticed Greg. He looked pissed off.
"Hunny are you ok?" Nina asked
"No I'm not ok. That piece of shit is here."

Rodrick started to walk over the Greg. I couldn't hear what they were saying but Rodrick was obviously annoyed at him. Then I saw Rodrick slap him round the face. I rushed over and stood in between them
"Greg I think we should go home!"
"Yeah Greg I think you should" Rodrick replied.

The car journey home was quite, the only noise was Cheryl telling Chrissy that we couldn't have McDonald's for dinner.

Once we got home Chrissy went up to bed and Cheryl stayed up in the bedroom so that Greg and I could talk.
"Greg what happened there? Why is Rodrick so mad at you?" I asked
"Rowley you know what Rodrick is like. He's always been an asshole and always will."
"He seemed to change though.." I mumbled
"Rowley. Trust me he just pretends to be nice. He's always trying to steal people from me. Like he literally made my parents hate me. He even tried to take away Natalie from me when he was dating Nina!"
I was shocked. This doesn't seem right I'm sure Rodrick wouldn't do that. He teased Greg for sure but he wasn't a villain. Even though part of me disagreed and didn't believe Greg I agreed and left it there.
Anyway Greg went upstairs to rest but I stayed in my office (the corner of the lounge). I felt bad for doing this but I looked up Rodrick's Facebook to find loads of pictures of him and his family but I had to scroll really far to sims pictures with Greg. Then I discovered a picture of all of the Heffleys and Greg was there with Natalie. She was tagged so I checked her page out. I thought I might as well add her too. She had bucket loads of posts about their son Joel. Then I stumbled upon a status update saying:

'Thank you for all of the support. Sometimes you don't recognise that you're in a toxic relationship and that person is bad for you. I'm sorry for not listening to you guys but now I'm free. Love you all x'

Wait. Was Greg abusing Natalie?! He told me she kicked him out and turned on him. He made her seem like a monster and he was abusive to her the whole time! I was disgusted that Greg could do this. How dare he! But I didn't know what to do.. maybe she wasn't even talking about him. I felt like I should just keep quite until I knew more.

Later on went up to bed, as I got the the top of the stairs I saw Greg walk out of my bedroom.
"Greg what you doing in there?"
"Oh I just was asking Cheryl where the spare toilet paper was.." ok that weird but that sounds like something he'd ask about lol.
I got into bed and Cheryl was already fast asleep. Seemed like she had just passed out. I guess it was a long day so I wasn't surprised. I turned my light out and finally got some rest.
