Andrew's POV

As I helped my twin brother, Austin, with our furniture, I noticed a slight movement across the street.

I looked over and sure enough, a beautiful woman was looking over here in confusion.

I immediately felt my heart clench and I knew from that moment that I had to get to know her.

I resumed moving the last piece of furniture and went to take another shower because I felt sticky and dirty.

After my shower, I dressed myself into a black button up shirt and some grey slacks. I paired that with my black loafers, grabbed my computer bag, and went downstairs to the kitchen where my brother was.

We were twins, but not identical. In fact, the only thing we have in common was our eye color and jaw structure. Much to my dismay, he was older than me but only by an hour. He still rubbed that into my face.

At the breakfast table, Austin was shirtless and had his feet propped on the table with his hands behind his head. I annoyingly swiped his feet off the table because that was disgusting.

I guess you can say I'm a very clean guy. I can't work when there's a mess around because I feel uncomfortable and disgusted.

I poured myself a cup of coffee and pushed Minty, our cat, off of my seat.

I sighed and wondered if I would ever see mystery girl again.

I know I may seem stupid right now because she lives next door so of course I would see her again, but you never know. She could be one of those people that never likes going outside.

As I made my way to my car to get ready for my first day teaching Human Physiology at Phoenix High School, I asked Austin how I looked for the 2000th time. He was consistent that I looked fine.

I wanted to make a good first impression on the kids I was going to teach, and what would be better than looking good.

As soon as I got into my car and turned on some OneRepublic, I felt relaxed and confident enough to get through today. But as I pulled into the teacher's parking lot, all my fears started to come at me in full waves.

I just shook it off for right now and gathered my belongings with me to my first hour class.

My first hour came into the classroom looking all gloomily and dead like. If only I could show them that I was feeling the same way too, but I had to mask my feelings.

When the bell rang and everyone was in their seats, I stood up and all eyes were on me as I talked in my authority voice.

"Alright class, I know that your previous teacher suddenly disappeared (I got a laugh out of that because we all knew Mrs. Helms just had a baby and decided to retire to look after her new born.) I, Mr. Pierce, will now be teaching Human Phys. I want you to refer to me as Andrew because my father is Mr. Pierce and I don't want to be called an old guy."

I got more laughs and smiled to myself. Maybe this wouldn't be so bad after all.

I got through 2 more classes with the same results, laughing at lame jokes and it was time for my final class.

I did notice something though, every girl was staring at me like I was a piece of meat, and it was making me uncomfortable. But I sucked it up because I knew I was handsome and I guess I should have seen this coming.

I had to run to the copy machine to make more copies of the syllabus and when I returned, there was a girl siting in the front by the window with her head down.

I got that weird heart clenching feeling again and it felt like I had ordered her to look at me.

When she did look up, I found myself staring into the familiar purple eyes of the mystery girl...my neighbor.
