Yoko's POV

I didn't know what to do.

My grandpa was writhing on the floor, suffering as I stood by, not even bothering to lift a finger to help him in any way. I couldn't. I didn't want to endanger my friends again. Even if it does mean the death of family.

"Grandpa....?"

I wanted them both. I didn't want to lose the ones that have given me a chance to smile nor lose the one who was closest to me. But in reality...

who is closest to me now?

"Yoko.... my dear...... RUN!!" his voice came out raspy and low as my eyes widened, knowing there was still a bit of that old man I still loved in that body.

"No-"

Blood splattered against my body, covering my vision in red. Tentacles. Eyeballs rolling out. A seam rolling down his face. That wrinkly expression torn in half. Two heads emerging from a ugly body of mass tentacles and grime. The two faces I hated most in the world.

Mother. Father.

Lucy's POV

What is that thing.

The kind old man that once served us now transformed, no, some deformed octopus, with extra limbs sprouted from the body, two heads emerging instead of one. One woman and one man.

"Yoko....... welcome home deary." said the woman's head.

"Mother. Father." said Yoko, pain and disgust smeared all over her face.

Aren't they meant to be dead? I thought a slave killed them?! What is going on? Why were they here? What is going on?

"Did you think we died because of a measly dagger to the heart?" cackled the man.

"How foolish, we are much more than that, we have powers you can never dream of~" cooed the woman.

"Why....... why grandpa." said Yoko as she glanced at the remains of what use to be a heartwarming elderly.

"He passed by us when we were in our final moments, we simply combined ourselves together and latched onto him. Entered through his mouth. Controlled him from the inside. Got him to do some..... errands." they both said slowly, almost allowing for Yoko to process the information.

"You made grandpa kill..... for that?" asked Yoko as she pointed at the mass of limbs which was considered as a 'body'.

"Yes.... it was fun you know." said the mother.

"His confused facial when he didn't understand why he was tearing innocent little lambs to pieces." whimpered the father.

Yoko's facial turned dark.

The rest of the Fairy Tail members were too stunned to speak, unsure whether to act as this was Yoko's mother and father. We were all still stuck in a pit of confusion, but we still had our guard up as we heard what they've done before.

"Unfortunately, all the ones grandpa has been killing isn't enough to be able to give us a good body that can hold our power." said Yoko's mother.

"Fortunately, you have returned along with a few other sacrificial lambs that will do well for our evening meal." whispered her father.

Eyes widened as we realised how much trouble we were in.
