Chiyoko's POV
"Hey, I'm baaacckk~"
"Where have you been? We were worried sick about you!!" said Mira, as she rushed up to me.
"Where did you get the bear?" asked Gajeel, as he sniffed the bear that Sting gave to me.
"Huh this? I met this guy, he was really nice. We talked and yea, he just bought this for me. I think his name was Sting or somethin-"
"WHAT?!" roared Laxus as he entered the room. "WHAT DID YOU SAY HIS NAME WAS?"
"Uh, Sting-kun?" I replied, adding a 'kun' at the end to see whether or not it was because Laxus was jealous. Instead, he just sighed and whacked his hand on his forehad and sat down.
"What's wrong?" I asked, but for some reason, I felt as though I shouldn't be asking. As though, I already knew the answer. But for some reason, I just couldn't figure out why. I couldn't put my finger on it, it was as though my brain was saying I knew it but at the same time, I didn't.
"...You little Sting-kun, is from Fiore's number one guild, Sabertooth. Apparantly in our 7 year dissapearance, they've risen up and taken over our spot. He is one of the most strongest males in their guild. He is one of the Twin Dragons of Sabertooth, the other Dragon Slayer goes by the name of Rogue."
"Wait, hang on, he's a dragon slayer? Cool, what kind?"
"Dunno..."
"Well then, Mina-sama!! We should all get some sleep now!! Tomorrow is the big day!!" piped Juvia as we all walked back to our rooms to sleep.
As we drifted off to sleep, I stayed awake thinking about some stuff.
I should've known, but... why doesn't the information just come up? I don't get it, I can't remember a damn thing...
I closed my eyes as I thought of sleeping but, as soon as I did, a little image of a teenage girl just popped up in my head. It was all dark, she was just walking down an alley way. Suddenly, I saw a pair of hands stretch out and place it on her mouth from around the corner, and then pulled her away. She fought but lost conciousness in the end.
I opened my eyes wide with shock as I gasped for air.
She seemed... familiar though......
I sighed and closed my eyes as I drifted off into a deep sleep........
~The next day~
"Wow, so we're gonna be competing here?" I said, as we entered the arena after being announced second of the sky labyrinth tournament. And of course, Natsu and the others are looking shocked as they should be.
"And in first is..... Sabertooth!!"
"WHAT!!" I screamed as I saw Sabertooth come out, along with Sting. He must've heard me scream because his head turned around and saw me looking at him and his group. He looked at me and gave me a little smile, barely enough for the audience to see that it was a smile. I saw it and blushed a little, for some unknown reason.
What the hell am I doing? I mean seriously!! I gotta focus on the tournament, Fairy Tail is counting on this team!! Well, and Natsu's team as well of course but, they might not do so well because, well yea.. and thats why Master formed this team in the frst place!! Wait, where is my mind flying off to now!! I gotta concentrate, no more Sabertooth, no more Sting. Get it all out of your head....
HIS FACE JUST KEEPS ON POPPING UP IN MY MIND!!
This is ridiculous, get a grip Yoko!! This ain't time for lovey dovey day dreams!! Wait, I'M NOT IN LOVE, he's just a really really really really really really really nice and good friend that I've only known for one day. WAIT, head back into the games now!!
"Teams please choose your contestants!!"
"WHAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRTTTTTTTTTTTTT???!!!!" I silently screamed just so my team could hear me.
"You weren't listening?" asked Mira as she tilted her head to the side.
"Seriously, be more aware would you? You're gonna get yourself kidnapped that way someday." sighed Gajeel as Juvia started to explain everything to me.
"Cool, I'm on for this one." I replied happily after Juvia finished explaining.
"Get going kid," said Laxus, as he pushed me to the door, I stumbled as I turned back to glare at him and then, turned around to see what was going to happen next.
And the crowd goes wild as the contesdants are being named out, blah, blah, blah....
Anyways, who have we got here? Lamia Scale... Lyon...
Mermaid Heel... that chubby woman.... whats her name? Can't hear.....
Blue Pegasus.... hey its Eve...
Raven Tail......Black Snake.....
Sabertooth? ahh, Rogue.....
Fairy Tail... Team A...
Ha... I think too much sometimes....
I should really focus.........
As soon as I snapped out of my little 'trance', the game started and I was soon surrounded by millions of copies of the me and the other players.
"Contesdants, listen as I explain what we will be doing today...."
After a while of walking around, I was starting to get the hang of things and so, I continued walking, trying to find the real ones from the fakes.
This is so troublesome.....
"Ghost Duplicate....." I muttered, as I stretched my hands outwards allowing a bunch of hollows flow freely from out of my hands, then forming into a shape of a human. With a single, pop, it transformed into me, a double.
I smiled as I allowed my double to walk in front of me, my double pretending as though she was looking for someone, with me behind her acting lost, just like the fakes.
Soon I ran into Eve, who saw my duplicate and awkwardly hid behind me as he edged closer to my duplicate. I shuddered as he almost touched me and widened my eyes as I reliazed what I did wrong.
"Negative hollow...." I whispered, as I let a hollow come out of my hand and sneak behind Eve, sending him a suprise attack. He fell to the ground, as I let out a breath of relief and had a look around, just to check whether anyone saw that.
Hm? Hey, it's Gray....
"Gra-" I started as I reliazed this was a game. He turned around and looked in my direction as my face fell, pretending to look lost. His eyes fell onto my duplicate as he prepared for an attack.
Gray's POV
I thought I heard someone call my name, I started to act as though I didn't know she was there as I continued walking closer and closer towards her. As soon as I was in a 2 metre radius, I was about to launch an attack until
"Gray,"
I spun around and there I saw Lyon, standing with that annoying smirk on his face.
"We finally meet,"
"What do you want Lyon," I said, as my eyes darted from Yoko to Lyon.
"Juvia's heart,"
My eyes constantly darted from Lyon over to Yoko, I didn't want my prey to slip out of my hands after I've gotten this close to being able to attack. Lyon must've noticed my actions as his head turned over to Yoko's direction, his eyes fell upon her as he turned back to me smiling.
"Ah, I see you've also found someone as well, am I right, Gray?"
