Yoko's POV
I wasn't in the mood to see any fights. Not after what happened to Lucy. I stayed in the infirmary by her side until someone would come in to tell me that it was time for me to go up.
While I stayed I thought about some things. It was nice, just to sit here with no one to bother you and just think about stuff. The throbbing of my head before, the red stain on Lucy... I shook my head as I decided not to think about it in case I came to silly conclusions and overreacted. As I sat and thought, my eyes drooped as I felt myself feeling drowsy, I let my eyes rest for a while and let my guard down just for the minute....
"YOKO!!" screamed Natsu as I fell down and woke up in shock.
"Geez, I was trying to wake you up for the past 10 minutes y'know!! You are such a deep sleeper!" yelled Natsu as I shushed him.
I looked over at Lucy and the heaving of her blanket going up and down made me assume that she was still sleeping. I crept out with Natsu as he told me it was time for our battle with Sabertooth.
"Finally, those assholes will pay." said Natsu as the fire in his eyes flared.
I smiled. This is what I like about Natsu. He cares. He cares for someone might not even know, he cares, at least....
Suddenly, my vision changed. A large white house appeared, with a man and a woman standing in front of it. The woman was smiling and the man had a serious look on his face, it only showed their facial expressions, but it didn't show their eyes. Suddenly, the woman was slashed out of the picture and all that was left was a deep red scar that replaced her. A little girl who was standing in the middle of them changed from a face of pure joy to a face of horror. The girl slowly grew up but when she grew to the height around her father's shoulder, a gust of wind blew and she vanished. Now, it was only the father that was left standing, alone.
"Yoko?" asked Natsu as I opened my eyes.
"Hey, you ok?" he asked again as I felt cold sweat running down my face.
"I'm fine, we better hurry." I said brushing the vision off quickly.
Sabertooth was out there ready for battle. I couldn't let Fairy Tail down like this.
Fairy Tail, is the only home I have.
Natsu's POV
As we were walking towards the battle grounds to take down those Sabertooth assholes, Yoko suddenly stopped. I turned around to see her eyes have gone white and hazy, her pupils were gone.
"Yoko?" I asked, kinda worried.
She fell to the ground, shaking, her eyes going blood red. She was going limp and muttering something under her breath. I tried to lean in closer to hear but it just kept on going quieter and quieter everytime I leaned in closer.
"Yoko!! WAKE UP!!" I shouted as I grabbed her shoulders and shook her, not knowing what to do.
She once again fell limp on the floor but this time, she woke up.
"Yoko?" I asked.
"Hey you ok?" I asked again seeing as she went quiet.
"I'm fine, we better hurry." she said as she stood up and continued walking.
What. was. that. about.
I continued to walk after Yoko focusing on the battle, but at the same time, I was worried about her. I didn't want her to have the same breakdown in the middle of the fight. I tried to stop her and maybe get someone else to replace her but it was too late, we were on the grounds and ready for battle. The crowd cheered as we stepped out. Yoko looked as pale as a ghost, but there was no turning back.
I just hope, Yoko will be ok.
Sting's POV
As those two stepped out, my eyes were fixed on Natsu Dragneel. My life long goal. But without realizing it, my eyes suddenly changed course after a while and fixed itself on Yoko. She looked really pale, not from fright, but from something else. Her body was telling me that there was something wrong, but her eyes were on fire, determined to win this battle no matter what. I was lost.
The battle had begun.
Natsu jumped up high in the air as he attacked me first, while Yoko fell behind to attack from a long distance.
"Rogue, you take on Yoko, Dragneel is mine." I growled as I remembered my promise.
Rogue nodded as he ran forwards to take on Yoko. I didn't have much time to worry about her, Natsu was my aim. He threw many attacks at me, while I dodged them with ease. I turned around to find Lector watching me closely.
I couldn't lose face now, Lector is watching.
I threw ferocious attacks at Natsu as we continued to fight, attacking each other viciously. I got a glimpse of how Yoko and Rogue were doing while jumping and to my suprise,
Yoko was losing.
Yoko's POV
"Damn!!" I muttered as I wiped away the blood that dripped out of my mouth.
All the attacks I threw at him were getting weaker and weaker with every move. I didn't understand, I felt fine but, it was like my arms were just not listening.
"NEGATIVE HOLLOW, NEGATIVE HOLLOW!!' I screamed, the attacks I produced went through but did the damage I would rate as pathetic. It did no use whatsoever which made me practically defenseless.
"You expect yourself to protect someone when you're this weak? Pitiful." said Rogue as he sent another attack hurled at me.
It was sent straight to my chest as I quickly dodged it, panting, not being able to keep up with his moves.
"Do you expect..." he said as he suddenly appeared beside my ear, "to protect that pathetic girl Minerva defeated so easily with your abilities?" he asked.
Anger flared inside me as I threw another attack at him, which he dodged easily. I have my pride as well as a Fairy Tail member.
"So weak..." he once again said
"So pathetic...."
"So..... annoying...." he whispered as the anger within in me exploded.
Control it.... use it.... take his head..... don't hesitate.... do it......
I turned around. Who was that?
Kill..... God gave you power, now use it..... use it and take his head.... otherwise..... misfortune shall be placed upon you..... now.... KILL!!
A spurt of energy suddenly rose to my head as I felt myself losing conciousness. A velvet blanket of darkness engulfed me as I felt my feet leaving the ground.
What happened.
I'm lost.
Help.
