throwing her phone onto the bed, y/n put her face in her hands and sighed. how could she have been so stupid?! just running off like that?
it had been a week now and billie wasn't returning any of her calls.
y/n slumped down into her desk chair, allowing her feet to mindlessly push her left and right as her mind began to go completely blank. - now asleep on the couch, y/n groaned as a faint buzzing noise slowly awakened her from her quick nap. she rubbed her eyes, taking a few moments to fully regain her awareness. looking over to her phone, she jumped up, as she noticed billie's name popping up on her screen.
she swiftly grabbed the phone and accepted the incoming call.
"billie! oh my god! where were you? i'm so sorry, i shouldn't have run off like that! please don't be mad at me, i didn't mean to, i'm so sorry! i'm so fucking sorry-
"yooooo dude chill! what's up with you man? why are you apologising?" billie laughed in slight disbelief at y/n's panicked state.
"i- i just, well you see i- uh i thought you were mad at me cause of the whole uhhhhh running off thing, like you weren't answering my calls or anything i left you a bunch of messages i-
"ohhh i'm sorry i've been so busy this week, i had to do loads of interviews and stuff, i literally haven't even had time to check instagram"
"wait so you're not mad at me?"
"why would i be mad at you? i understand why you ran off, you were overwhelmed it was totally my fault"
"oh my god billie i'm so fucking relieved! are you free tonight? please tell me you're free tonight, i have to make it up to you!" y/n sat back down on the couch, letting out a loud sigh of relief as she waited for billie's answer.
"yeah, sure! should we meet up at that starbucks again or-
"no! i mean... why don't you come over to my place? we can order pizza and watch some movies, and we won't have to worry about anyone recognising us!"
"alright, why not? just text me your address, all right?"

after texting billie her address, y/n began tidying up her relatively small apartment.
she turned on the fairy lights in the living room, making it as cosy as possible, and prepared some snacks for the movie.
