your pov-

sleepily, my eyes slowly fluttered open as the morning sun that was peaking through the curtains awakened me. i stretched my arms out lazily, slowly turning my head to the side. a pit formed in my stomach as i remembered what had taken place, though i couldn't help but smile when i saw billie's beautiful face as she quietly breathed in and out, cuddling my fluffy, pink pillow.

without thinking, i placed my hand on her cheek, softly drawing circles on it. trying very carefully not to wake her, i slowly moved closer to her, lightly pressing my lips against her forehead before making my way out of the bed.

i slipped on one of my silk robes and went to the kitchen, thinking of something to make for breakfast.

pancakes, i had decided on, as i scoured the dusty cupboards for ingredients.

-
the loud clanking of my whisk beating against the glass bowl must have woken billie, as she was now standing behind me, startling me with her sudden presence.

"hey" she said softly, sliding her hand around my waist.

dropping the whisk into the bowl, i turned around to face her. she was wearing one of my t-shirts and her eyes were still hazy. she looked absolutely beautiful, with her hair still a mess and her legs completely bare for me to see.

i smiled, giving her lips a quick peck, before turning around to return to my cooking.

"i'm making pancakes" i said, as billie pulled out a chair, taking a seat at the kitchen table.

she replied simply with "nice" and began to quietly hum a random song that i did not know the name of. i smiled to myself as the sizzling sound of pancakes on the stove and her lovely voice filled my ears. i wanted this, every morning, for the rest of my life.

with her.

-
we finished our pancakes, and were now cuddling on the couch. billie lay on her back, with me on top of her, arms around my waist, rubbing my back with her thumb lightly.

i pushed some hair away from the side of her face and let out a content sigh.

"billie?"

"yes, babe?" she turned her head to look at me and i giggled at the nickname she had just called me.

my hand cupped her cheek slightly, tracing her jawline with my thumb. she looked at me with concern as my smile began to fall. i looked away.

"what's wrong?" she asked, with a hint of worry in her voice. i gulped and took a deep breath, afraid of upsetting her.

"you know we can't tell anyone about this right? like absolutely no one. i can't risk losing my career over this billie i just can't-

"it's okay y/n, don't worry. no one will know about us it's fine." she said reassuringly, running her hand down the back of my thigh. i placed my head on her chest, letting her play with my hair.

"i'm sorry, i like you a lot bil, i do, and i want things to work out between us but my career is really important to me." tears pricked my eyes slightly but billie continued to comfort me.

"i know baby, i know. it's all gonna be fine, okay? trust me."

her voice was so soothing and comforting. in that moment i just felt so lucky to have her.

soon, we fell into a calm, peaceful silence and slowly, as my eyes began to close, we drifted off to sleep in each others arms.
