Ro's POV -

I'm 10 laps in and I haven't even started to sweat. I see the other transfers looking over and seeing their faces covered in shock. I guess they weren't ready for me to be able to actually run 20 laps.

Training hasn't really started and I can hear almost everything Four and Eric are saying. It's easier to hear Eric because he talks so loud and it makes me run faster. He keeps yelling something about a line and if your under it your cut? I'm a little upset I wasn't told about that but it's not like it matters. I'm placing first and Eric can suck it.

I can't believe he just threw me under the bus like that. The only enjoyment from this "punishment" which was well needed from my little outburst earlier is the fact that me doing so well is pissing Eric off so much.

I don't think he realized I'm actually fit already. I can't wait till he sees me in the ring. People used to call me Rosey Roundhouse at school because of the amount of fights I would get in and there's one transfer from Erudite that actually got a round house from me before coming here. I don't enjoy fighting but he had it coming.

Eric looks over again and I run faster again. The scowl that was on his face only deepens and I'm on my final lap. I push my legs to move faster enjoying the burning sensation their feeling and round the first corner of this massive room.

I try and run harder and I start gasping for air as I round the next corner. I'm so close to the end where I have to drop down just a little farther. I look back over again and Eric's face has changed a little. Instead of looking mad he looks well a little less mad? I'm not too sure but it gives me the final push I need to get to the finish and I immediately drop down.

I bang out 20 push ups and now I'm starting to sweat and my arms started to wobble slightly on my last push up. I jump up from my set to see an almost impressed Eric and a shock filled Four. "You just ran 2 miles and did 20 push-ups in under 10 minutes. It took you 8 minutes to run 2 miles." Four gets out still looking shocked. I smile at Four "I used to run a lot back in Amity" I get out while looking at Eric. I can tell he's still mad because he wanted me to not enjoy that but truth is I'm glad he made me. I feel a lot better about what happened earlier and I walk over to my friends.

"I'm sorry for breakfast, I guess I'm just not a morning person. I was starting to loose my temper and figured walking away might be better than accidentally punching one of you guys." I grab the back of my neck as I say this and they all just look at me. Elena finally breaks the silence, "it's okay we just weren't expecting you to get so defensive over that. I guess we'll just have to make a rule. No debates at breakfast." The boys start to laugh and I do to. I'm glad I didn't loose the only friends I got over my stupid temper. "What did I miss besides their pep talk?" I whisper over to Terrence and he just laughs. "Besides Eric fuming nothing. We're going to work on punching bags and self defense and that's all I know." I nod thanks when he finishes and look back up. I guess I didn't hear the cut thing? Or he was paying more attention to Elena than what was being said.

Eric is demonstrating how to punch properly while Four is showing how to block properly. I'm surprised they work well together considering they don't seem to get along too well.

My eyes keep diverting to Eric's arm when he "punches" and I can feel myself starting to blush. I need to pay attention. I already know how to hit but it wouldn't be smart of me to just ignore this, I might be missing something. I push his tattoo and muscles out of my head and focus on Four. I've never been good on defense so I guess it's better to watch him.

They finish their demonstration and break us into two groups. I'm with Elena on the punching bags and the boys have Four training them on defense first. We're switching after lunch.
