it was a few days after the incident and I had been the same old me, hood up, never speaking and ignoring everyone. It was a warm day and so I descided to walk to Pop's Diner after school, biigggg mistake. 'The' gang was there as well as Reggie and his mates. I managed to find a booth without being noticed and Pop appeared at my table right away. He was the only person I would ever crack a smile for, and that's exactly what I did right then. "Hey kiddo, how've you been." He spoke gently and kindly. "To be honest with you Pop, I've been better. Much better." I chocked with more tears welling in my eyes. My mother had began drinking again and she was and abusive drunk, she barged into my room telling me that I was a dissapointment and that she wished I died in the womb. Then she proceeded to push me down the stairs. I made it out with a few bruises and a large gash on my forehead but I was okay, at least that's what I told myself. Pop said nothing exept hold his arms out and without hesitating I launched from my seat and into his arms. Then I realised that we were attracting attention and proceeded to thank Pop before leaving the small Diner. But of course I couldn't have a moment of peace, and Reggie was right behind me. "Hey crazy eyes, how's your mom?" He called. How the Fuck? My mom was very, very young. I was a mistake and she had me at fifteen, fifteen! "Yeah, she's a good bang. Might have to do her again." He called. Oh My Fucking God. "Listen here, if you ever go near my mother again I will personally see to it that you never 'bang' another girl again. Ever." I growled spinning round and sticking a finger into his chest. "You're looking very ugly today." He brushed it off. Wow, great comeback. "Wow!" I state. "Let's count how many Fucks I give." I say looking up to the sky and pointing. "One. One and a half. Oh shit." I say sarcastically looking back to him, "They flew away." I was immediately met with the sound of laughter and looking behind Reggie I saw 'the' gang all hunched over cackling, especially Jughead. Looking back to Reggie I flipped him off and walked away.

The next day at school, I was sat in my usual corner when I couldn't help but overhear a conversation between the group sat on the couch. That meaning Reggie was being a dick and I just happened to hear what he was obnoxiously yelling. "Now let's be honest, isn't it always some spooky, scrawny Internet troll who's too busy writing his manifestos to get laid. Some smug, moody serial killer fanboy freak. Like Jughead." I snapped my head in their direction at that. Standing up and silently making my way over, he continued. "What was it like suicide squad? When you shot Jason, you didn't do stuff to the body did you... after." I spoke at this and it seemed that Jughead and I had the same responce planned as we both came out with. "It's called Necrophilia Reggie, can you spell it?" I looked at him and he looked at me, I offered a small smile before it was wiped away by Reggie going for Jughead only to be stopped by Archie Andrews who managed to calm him. (I can't remember what happened exactly soo yeah.) I wasn't as lucky however as his friend socked me right across my cheek. I had never been hit with such force and I fell to the ground holding my face as Reggie held his friend back. Surprisingly both Jughead and Archie ran to my side, helping me up and glaring at the group as they led me somewhere. I wasn't really focused on where we were headed as I was more focused on trying to stem the flow of blood coming from the cut that I goy from my fall downstairs. It wasn't until I was sat at a table and two feminine gasps were heard that my anxiety kicked in and I finally looked at where I was that I stood up immediately and looked at the two boys. "Hey, what happened?" Veronica asked as I began shuffling away. "Wait! Stay." Archie called. I looked back and shook my head stumbling further from the table. "Hey, look I know you're afraid. But we're actually concerned and we do want to talk, so please... Stay. For me." Jughead suddenly ran over. Sighing I nodded and walked back over to the table where I was immediately handed napkins to hold to my face and three warm smiles were sent my way. I smiled back and they took that as a sign to engage in conversation, "What's your name?" Betty asked as I cleaned up a bit. "Y/N. Y/N L/N." I smiled. "Sorry about bumping into you by the way." I added sheepishly. She shook her head and Veronica asked what happened once more and the boys explained. After that we all just sat and chatted for a while, but I began to get a bit hot and Jughead noticed. "Hey Y/N, take the hoodie off." He spoke. "Oh no I can't, I ha-" "I know." He interrupted lifting it gently over my head. After that whole thing I found that I actually got along with these people well and we shared a few laughs, after a while Jughead slowly wrapped an arm around my shoulder and I leaned my head on his. Thanks to him I had New friends.
