Let's get a puppy.

Hey guys, so I'm no longer ending the imagines with the title. Instead I'm going to just add it into the story somewhere. Xoxo

You and your boyfriend Jughead had been dating for around a year now and we're currently simply laying in your bed, staring at the ceiling and chatting about nothing.

 "You know... I've always loved the colour grey. I know that most people find it the most boring colour in the world but I think of it more like, like if the right person comes along, and they have the right colour, they can mix and make a gorgeous new colour or pattern. You know?" You rambled, turning to lay face to face next to Jughead and smiling. (I have no idea where that came from. Greys always been my favorite colour and my fingers just got carried away. Oops.) 

"I guess it's a good thing that my favorite colours black then." He smirked, tugging on the grey and black patterned top you were wearing. Laughing, you swatted his hand away and the two of you fell into a comfortable silence.

"Let's get a puppy." he said it like there was no issue in the world.

"What?" You laughed sitting up and looking down at him.

"Let's get a puppy." He spoke again, "Seriously, we have room and you've always said how much you love Tibetan Mastiffs. So why the hell not?!" 

You gasped, was he actually serious? "You do know how much a puppy costs? Right?" You questioned knowing how you were low on income at the moment, the two of you having part time jobs at Pops.

"We've got enough, come onnnn Y/N. I want a cuddle buddy." He whined as you gasped in mock anger.

"I thought I was your cuddle buddy Juggie?" You pouted, holding your arms out with a pout on your face.

"You are princess, but don't you want one as well? For the nights I have to deal with the Serpents?" He questioned pulling you close and pressing his lips to your cheek. He had a point there, you often got very lonely whenever Jughead had to be out late because of some stupid fight down at the Whyrm.

After a while of debating, you came to a decision. "Okay." You spoke softly, kissing the tip of his nose.

"Really!" He gasped jumping up. 

"Let's go get ourselves a puppy." You giggled at his sudden excitement. And with that you both ran out of the door and jumped into your small C/B (car brand) car.

15 mins later.

"Oh my god they're so cute!" You squealed as the lady led you through the pet shop, you stopping every five seconds to coo over a new puppy and Jughead pulling you away. 

"Here we are, D/B's!" (Dog breed)The lady smiled at you as you gasped, gazing at all of them. 

"I'll leave you two to get to know them." She laughed as she opened the gate and you ran straight into the pen, Jughead following you.

"I want them all!" You whined, as the dogs all ran at you. All dogs bar one, you noticed this and so whilst Jug continued to play with the others you stood and crouched down a little way away from the puppy. 

"Hey, hey sweetheart. It okay, I won't hurt you." You whispered reaching a hand out for the dog to sniff. He/She leant forwards and sniffed your hand before timidly walking forwards and allowing you to stroke them. Soon after they were cuddled up to you and you heard a gasp from the woman who had led you there.

"What!" You worried, pulling the dog a little closer after feeling her/him grow afraid. 

"They've never done that before, you see this dog came from a rather sad background. They were taken from their mother too soon and we found out later that the previous owner lied about them being a rescue so that they could get more money. Now this dog suffers because they didn't get enough loving when they needed it." She explained as Jughead stood behind you, you let out a gasp looking down at the poor pup. 

"We'll take him/her." You spoke, standing up and looking directly at the woman who smiled delightedly at you both.

Soon after you had both paid for the dog and all of the other things it would need. Now for the hard part. "Jug?" 

"Yeah." Came his reply as he strapped,himself in. 

"What are we gonna name him/her?" Ye inquired gazing back at the puppy in the back seat.

"How about... D/N?" He asked and you gasped.

"Jug that's perfect! Hi D/N, hi!" You cooed, stroking the dogs soft head. 

15 mins later. 

You were back home now and watching your new puppy search the small apartment that you and Jughead were currently living in. 

"Thank you baby." You spoke, leaning back onto his chest.

"I lovveeee you." He responded kissing your forehead. The night went on and soon you fell asleep cuddled up against both Jughead and your very own D/N.
