You know that feeling when you can't breath
When you think everyone is about to leave
because of something you thought was in the past
You thought you could let it go at last
but it casts its way back in
Like it never left and you cant force it away
As much as it hurts and bleeds
You cant give it what it needs
You want to have a good life
Leaving it all behind
Hoping no one hits rewind
Not wanting to relive those moments
The moments you want to forget
Sometimes you regret
The shitty things you are able to remember
Hoping to get forgiveness
Hoping to get closure
Hoping to not lose anyone you care about
If not then you'll have to live with it and deny it ever happened
Still in the back of your mind
You know it happened
There's nothing to change it
Or alter perspectives
There's just point of views that anyone can see different
Hopefully, if they care they would understand
Hopefully, I can get forgiveness
