What is wrong?
It cant go on for very long.
I am terrified.
Allow me to clarify.
Once I thought I could never be loved,
as I still believe so.
Inching closer towards being dead,
my heart still yearns to grow.
Even if it breaks, I still fix it with the knowledge I have gained.
Knowledge that protects like steel.
How does it feel? To be so fragile,
seeming like you cant love for a while.
It's always hard to be happy.
The moment you achieve,
it's a spark between you and me.
How the light shines off your eyes.
When I'm with you time flies.
I dont know if you feel it, but why?
It's how I overthink
Thoughts rush past me in a blink
As if this lifetime is just pink
As it may only start with a wink
With what is said
I wouldn't doubt it if you dread
Or that you even read
All I ask is that you stay fed
I genuinely care about who you are
As a person your personality shines brighter than your flaws.
Even when those flaws show
There's nothing that will make me go.
I may not be perfect but I will do my best.
Surely better than the rest.
I desire the life you crave
As much as I can have it, I would like to share it with you.
